More than a month ago I was told that my prescription is only half filled in, due to not enough supplies. When I returned yesterday, they told me that they don't have the supplies and will order it and will be there today in the afternoon. When I came in the afternoon, they told me they did not have the supplies, and I should check the Layton location. I asked if they will call and set it up for me so I can go get the supplies. They said I have to do it myself, and it will probably take only 30 minuets. When I asked if I do that what are the chances that it will be ready in 30 minuets, or if they call will that expedite the prosses. They said it might be more, and they don't know. I asked " so you are just sending me on my own, after you could not keep your word yesterday and more than a month ago? They just sat there staring at me for a minute. At that point I said" This is unprofessional, you are ridiculous staring at me as if you are just letting me vent. I am not venting, and you are unprofessional. I can't believe the way you do business. This is bad business. I can leave right now, but I will leave a very bad review about your business. I have only two insulin syringes in my purse, and you are going to let me go. Is this everything you can do for me? At this point the pharmacist came around holding one box of syringes. Neither she nor the tech spoke to me for 2-4 minutes, but I could tell they were still doing something. Finaly, she came with 5 boxes of syringes and said " the order is ready, it was right there, did get the text about it?" I said " Oh, was it so difficult to see it if it was there on the shelve already.?" At this point I was sure that they were lying to me and were seriously refusing to fill in my prescription. After they shook me up, the boxes magically appeared. It took her another 2 minutes to just hand me the bag. She was saying she was sorry as if it was a small thing. I told her that this is bad business, and the owner of the store will hear about it. I do not know why these people were lying and refusing to fill in my prescription and sending me away to some other store. My assumption is: Because my insurance is directly CVS, they have to hand me the supplies for close to no money at the time of service. Some staff member probably needs to perform some duties and have their reimbursement by their own company later. This is my assumption! One way or another, this CVS pharmacy staff is dishonest, disrespectful, discriminative, unprofessional and archaic. The way they conduct their business is desperate and unethical. They already act as if they have already lost the game of their business. I will never recommend this store, shame on you! And...
Read moreIt's been insane trying to get a "prescription card." Despite both my husband and I having CVS accounts and my insurance being charged, a pharmacist refused to give me my medication because I didn't have a "prescription card." So I spent the whole weekend trying to figure this out. My insurance doesn't know what this card is, and CVS customer service doesn't know what it is. A second pharmacist provided me with a phone number to get a card, but that number turned out to be for pharmacists only. I'm on the phone now with a FORTH customer service agent who STILL can't find this information and is transferring me to a FIFTH CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. How the heck am I supposed to get this card?! And why/how was my insurance able to be billed if this card/information is so necessary?! This is INSANE!!! If my insurance wasn't so instant on us using this pharmacy, I wouldn't come back. Anyone who doesn't need to go here should run and be grateful that they have other options than a company that runs less effectively than a car with three...
