This restaurant is run by 3 generations of native Thai. It was opened by Aree, who was born in Thailand. She passed the baton to her son Aruk, also born in Thailand. Aruk brought in his wife Mei, who specialises in making authentic Thai sauces. Aruk's daughter Jenni now runs the front of house.

Aruk was my neighbour and classmate and friend when his family settled in Layton. I now live in Australia, where we also have wonderful, flavourful Thai restaurants. I'm here in Aug 2025 to visit my family and friends, and couldn't wait to dine here.

Folks, this is the real thing. It doesn't have your Americanised flavours. It doesn't have your American huge portions. It doesn't have a long menu with Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. It's just authentic Thai food, made by hand, using recipes never written but passed down through generations.

Enjoy the food made by this...

I ordered the Yellow Curry with Beef. We also ordered the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ewe. All three meals were delicious.

Our waitress was very kind and was able to get refills on our drinks and grabbed our plates when we were done. At the end, she offered the Mango Sticky Rice - but we were full, so we declined. (Next time!)

I had been dying for some Curry. I was not disappointed! This was some scrumptious Curry, served with jasmine rice and an egg roll. It was enough as a single meal even though it looked like a small bowl.

The service was quick, the restaurant was clean (a bit dated in decor) but overall nice. The food was on point (I tried all three)! The location has plenty of parking as well - as it is the corner unit.

If you are looking for Thai food, I would 100% come...

Absolutely fantastic food. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Rice Noodle Soup with beef, and the Green Curry with chicken. I am a weenie when it comes to spice, so I did the 1 for the Pad Kee Mao, and it still had a spicy kick, but very delicious. The Green Curry over rice was superb, and the Rice Noodle Soup....oh my goodness that broth...just what I needed on a cold day..and with the noodles and other things in the soup...so good. My picky kids even loved the soup too. I placed an order via their website, which was easy to use, got 10% off for my first order which was nice, and my food was ready at exactly 15 minutes when it said I could pickup. The gal that bagged my food even ran out to catch me at my car to give me a tiny sauce cup she forgot that went with my egg roll. I'll...
