Used to really like this place, but last few times have been dismal at best. The last time I went, I ordered six shakes for the family. Only got 4 of them. 1 of them was made wrong, even though I asked specifically if the shake was correct because it looked really orange for a pineapple shake. (yes, my kid loves pineapple) It turned out to be a mango shake. I'm sure someone in the drive-thru got the pineapple. When I asked where the other 2 were, they said they'd be right out. Waited 15 more minutes while the first 4 were melting. When they came out, I could tell they were wrong because they were white...I ordered CHOCOLATE peanut butter. They swore to me they were chocolate...when I asked again, they checked with the kitchen and they said the chocolate ice cream was not working so they had to use vanilla. As the girl was explaining this to me, I saw 2 more shakes put out from the kitchen that were obviously made with chocolate. Waited 10 more minutes to get those fixed and finally left with 4 cups of flavored milk... and 2 shakes that were still not correct (we got plain chocolate ice cream...no peanut butter) In the photo you can see also that even though all the shakes were the same size, one of them was only filled about 3/4 of the way. After a month I decided to try again Saturday night. Ordered 2 Chocolate Peanut butter shakes. When they came out, they were once again vanilla peanut butter. The worker told me that was what I ordered, but I showed them the receipt which clearly read: Chocolate Peanut butter. She took the shakes back to the kitchen and came back with the same shakes 5 minutes later explaining the chocolate ice cream was not working. (AGAIN?!!.. how many times is it broken?) In the meantime a customer came in with the shake that he got in the drive-thru that should have been caramel, but was chocolate peanut butter. So, I asked how he got my chocolate peanut butter if the chocolate was broken. The girl just walked away from me. A couple of minutes later a different girl came to me with $13 dollars in her hand and just said that they could not make any more...
Read more5 months ago we visited this location and had a pretty good visit, gave a 5 star review too. Tonight, 1/26/18, we visited again. The resturant was super busy, but being a Friday night we weren't surprised. What was a surprise was after 20 minutes of ordering our shakes (3 this time) we still hadn't recieved them. This was a to-go order. So I went to ask about them, the young man who was working at first was nice about checking on our order until I pointed out our receipt on the counter, thinking that was easier than retelling our order. That seemed to make him mad, especially when I asked about the order orders were filled, since originally our receipt was the only one there and now was sandwiched between other orders. He mumbled something but never answered rhe question, he took the receipt and went to the back. Not two minutes later he brings two of the three shakes out to us, slamming them on the table. Then he went back and got our last shake, brought it out and slammed that one down too. He then said "thanks for choosing iceberg" quite rudely. We were in shock. Thought about complaining right then and there but decided to just leave it be, but the more we have thought about it the less happy we are over this visit. I recommend going somewhere else or visit a different location in hopes the service would be better. I have changed my star review to one.
5 months ago: Very friendly staff, and pretty quick too. The lady workerbee at the counter/register was amazing and super nice. Only problem was they forgot to make one of our shakes, making then, customers behind us get their shake order before we our entire order. Shakes we got: chocolate, burnt almond fudge, cookie dough, chocolate marshmallow & chocolate hot fudge...
Read moreAs someone who used to work there (it was nearly 6 months ago, so I don't know how different it is now) I've noticed some things 1) "mini" doesn't mean what you think it means, a mini shake is a shake, in one of the small drink cups (not a kids drink cup, but a small) and then, because they are thick, they extended above the cup, meaning it's a really big shake. 2) there isn't anyway to make a drinkable milkshake at Iceberg. That's just how it is, I worked there for nearly 9 months there, and I'm confident that milk didn't exist in the store, so for anyone who wants a milkshake, you're not going to get it because it's impossible to make with the ingredients we had 3) food is made to order, meaning that naturally it'll take a little longer to get people's food out to them, especially if it's a bigger meal, however, I can tell you with confidence that it never took 30 minutes with only 1-2 orders. 4) while obviously I can't excuse that some people simply weren't very good doing customer service, I can for a fact say that often times, our shifts were understaffed which meant I'd be running from taking an order, to making a shake to delivering an order to trying to restock stuff and all in the course of 5 minutes, and doing that a whole night can really burn you out 5) another reason service can be crappy was that someone was always being trained, seriously, always. If I can think of anything else to explain I'll make another review, but for now, I hope this is a bit helpful with at least...
