I may be biased cause it's been my shopping center basically my whole life (born here, but have moved out of state and lived in different cities in Washington), but I love it. There's Safeway, subway, Safeway gas station, Key Bank, Habit burger, Big Chicken, Old Fellas (bar/restaurant), Round Table (pizza), liquor store, UPS, Ace Hardware, Nail Shop (where you get your nails done), El Toros, Teriyaki (I can't remember the name, buts it's really good), Taco Bell Veterinarian, Planet Fitness, Bank of America, Umpqua Bank, coffee shop (I forget the name, but it does have a drive-thru), a laundry mat, Taco Dell Mar, a smokehouse, Papa Murphys, a tanning salon, A+ Driving School, Shell Gas Station, 2 different dentists (can't remember the names, but will update later), Joe Seppies Italian restaurant. I definitely left out some places cause I can't remember what else is there, but I will update this review the next I go to Westgate, which might even be today once the family and I leave UW Medical Center and head back to Tacoma. lol, UPDATE: So I didn't realize this was Westgate "North" Shopping Center, so some of the places I put in here are actually in Westgate "South" Shopping Center, so I'm sorry for the mistake. Westgate South is literally across the street (N 21st St) from...
Read moreI'm new to this Safeway, which is just blocks from my old one on 6th Ave., which closed...probably because I tried too many 'make these meals at home' delivery services and too many weeks of a produce discount service that sent me 3" sweet potatoes and other unpleasant items. I'm sorry, 6th Ave. Safeway! I messed up! So Westgate's Safeway and I are getting acquainted. I'm just starting to lose that 'I don't know where anything is' feeling, and adapt myself to the fact that my produce is no longer on my left (now right), and the deli is no longer on my right (now left). The sales are there, the pharmacy folks are nice, and I'm pretty sure the locals can't tell I'm new. (Who wants to be the new kid on the block?) So, yeah, four stars based on so far so good, and when I hit my grocery aisle stride with cart I'll probably...
Read moreHot food take home experience was worst ever. At 4:45 pm food was not only old but most was over cooked to that just burnt and the only gal working, without her name tag was acting like some hot shot know it all which I found very off putting, but then I took offense once she waited on me and argued about how I should order my food, and I know it's her job to suggest a meal instead of by the pound for customers cost benefit, but to down right argue in a huff and get upset cuz I didn't want to save .29 cents almost put me off from my purchase...then I see she only has one glove on and happens to be the thumb she licks after closing the lid on my container! I could go on but not trying to write a book. I will not accept service from her, Julie, again, should I ever return to their...
