I wanted to see Quercus garryana growing wild. I visited the Oak Patch in Tahuya, the young grove adjacent to St. Clair Hospital and this park.
The park trees are wonderful. All different ages including some specimens that are probably 100-200 years old. Fantastic collection of Garry oak with nice paths throughout.
