T-Town Cafe — Restaurant in Lakewood

*2025 update: my husband and I came here again after so long and its still got it. We came in exactly when they opened at 10am. The wait is worth it for the food. Everything was good, even the americano this time! My husband ordered another one to go. This time tried something different: injeolmi toast, cheese dog, spicy pork fries, spicy pork sandwich, pistachio drink (forgot the name). My son and I came a separate time and got the taiyaki with ice cream as well. 10/10 every time! Love this place! Adding a couple more pics. *

I don't normally review places but I had to with this place. Hubby, son, and I love this place. All the food we tried were good with the exception of the hot Americano my hubby got but we weren't here with high expectations of coffee.

We tried the bulgogi sandwich, spicy pork sandwich, cheese tteokboki, honey toast, bulgogi and cheese fries and the spicy pork and cheese fries. We also tried a few drinks, banana bubble tea, iced caramel macchiato, and hot white mocha Americano.

Portion sizes were mostly good to share with 2 people with the exception of the sandwiches.

Yes, a bit pricey for the fries and sandwiches but they were so good, we didn't even care!

I love their buzzer pick up service! It helps to hear over the loudness of the people inside. If you need a place for some quiet, this is not it.

Service was a little slow but they are short-staffed so I understand but otherwise, very nice staff! Will definitely come again to try their dessert/snack options: taiyaki, bingsu, Korean corn dogs,...

So I went in today and ordered a cheese corn dog and I made sure I said all cheese (before getting up and busting my butt on the wet floor.). My friend wanted to take a bite of hers and I gave it to her and she takes a bite and it’s a hotdog and cheese. We only wanted cheese so we went back in to get it re made and I didn’t want a double portion I just wanted it remade, but the girl seem hesitant and went back and told the manager and they told me I should pay extra to get it remade for their mistake? I told her I would like to speak with him and I was calm and nice and the dude immediately looks at my friends of color and then looked at me. I was appalled it felt like we where racially profiled and I’m not one for conflict but he was so rude for no reason you don’t even need a attitude or to act like a “Karen” to even get a bad response from the manager. Over all bad experience for This being the last time I’ll ever be in Washington state it was saddening. He tried gaslighting me to admit I didn’t say I wanted all cheese but it’s not the first time he’s done this. Cheap man, no compassion....

Went in to the business and was greeted nicely by young female employee with glasses. Ordered multiple items and payed over 30% tip for overall purchase. Received Taiyaki and Bulgogi cheese fries in respectable amount of time. Fries were very rich and salty in sauce. I asked my 15y old daughter to purchase a soda for me. Daughter goes to counter and orders a soda from the older female owner who was extremely rude and annoyed that she was only ordering a soda. She asked for payment, snatched the card from her hand, slapped the receipt on the counter demanding signature and placed the payment card far from her making my daughter reach near the owner by the register to retrieve the card. She scoffed when she had to get her soda. The other female employee apologized for the owners behavior. I then later asked the young employee if the other woman was the owner and she confirmed. I explained that she was a great to work with but the owner was extremely rude to my daughter. The employee stated that she...
