War Memorial Park — Attraction in Tacoma

Hello what can I say about the Warriors part today's hero and yesterday the outstanding these boys have marched and gave their life for us for what they believe in what a bunch of good guys and women I come here quite often to think about them and ring the bell to show my appreciation one thing we can do is remove the bums out of here they're so lazy if they wasn't so lazy they be fighting for the country but they did it ask for a handout and lay in the park and do nothing to serve our country is that make a mess down here time to stop the camping and allow the drug people to stay around our neighborhoods and Rob us that's all...

It's a nice little park with a lot of different war memorial plaques. The park itself is small, but it is the starting point for the Narrows bridge walk along the Scot Peterson trail. The park does have some signs of homeless encampments so be cautious. The Google map directions to the park are wrong but the entrance is easy to find. Google will tell you to turn off 6th Ave onto Skyline. Continue on 6th ave past Skyline and you will see the entrance to a park and ride lot. This is the east end of the Park. I've lived in Washington for 35 years, and I've never known this was here! But what a wonderful surprise after walking across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Once you get across the path at the light. You're met with this beautiful, honorable park! Flowers have bloomed, and the walls of honor really set in for those who fought for our freedoms. There's tables next to the honor walls.
