We visited spontaneously on a Saturday in April, with a windy/sunny day bringing a lot of folks to Fuzion Cafe. But the staff were ready for the crowd and the drinks & food arrived in great time.
The Fuzion Cafe's menu has about 60 items, with a good variety of vegetarian and gluten free options, noted in the menu.
We enjoyed non alcoholic cranberry lemonades beautifully presented. Fuzion Cafe offers liquor and alcohol, including mixed drinks.
The Coconut Prawns appetizer was perfectly tender, delicate coconut flavor very evident; a great crunchy creamy texture, and the tangy sauce balances the whole thing. A little shaved carrot & cabbage garnish, too. 6 prawns on skewers were enough for shared appetizer for the 2 of us.
We weren't sharing main dishes this meal. J had Cauliflower Fried Rice with Tofu. Other vegetables round out the flavor: cucumbers carrots, button mushrooms, broccoli, cabbage, & onions. Pleasant cauliflower flavor, wonderful fluffy texture. It was light but filling and we could've made two meals out of it.
I had Thai Beef Salad. There were bell peppers, cucumbers, red onions, cilantro, tomato, and thin seasoned beef strip tidbits, all on a bed of cheerful leaf lettuce. The bowl of vegetables knew it was delicious & gorgeous, as well. Dig into all of it and make sure to get more of the dressing from the bottom of the dish! Light and zesty, with a mix of satisfying textures. I was full, but couldn't resist coming back to the dish 2 and 3 more times, as we had a lovely conversation. It might make two portions, or just linger over the meal at The Fuzion Cafe.
Fuzion Cafe has wheelchair accessible entrance & parking, and accommodations to seat large and small parties, and other unique table options. There is a large parking lot, which may be close to full...
Read morePure garbage they put on a good face all they care about is getting your money. I went there to get a order of spring rolls told the lady no peanut sauce l am allergic to any peanuts she said they have a salad dressing with peanuts in it but also had one with out peanuts. She spoke to her hack husband who cooks the food in the back and shure enough he still puts the peanut product in my spring rolls. That day l spent 5 hrs in the ER and even with insurance it costs a bit of money. I returned to her restaurant today to ask her for my money back for the spring rolls she calls her lawyer and tells me it's been two months.l asked her why are you calling a lawyer l just want my money back for the spring rolls she sold me that nearly killed me. Her husband told me l have no proof and then she calls the police and tells me to get out of her restaurant. I can't believe this was her response. Please don't go to this place l know she tells you her sob story about the place burning down and how hard it was for her to get it back up and running they...
Read moreThis place is a gem. Small business with fresh homemade feel kind of food. We walked in and it was dead so we were nervous, wondering if that was a bad sign, it was not, more people just need to try it! We had the freshest spring rolls I’ve ever eaten and they were huge! The potstickers were made fresh with fresh sauce, as well as the chicken lettuce wraps, and cashew chicken. There were two girls in there complaining about upcharges from online to in house, saying the food was no good yet, they asked to have it wrapped to go?! My advice to people like that, do not go out to eat if you don’t have enough money, small businesses need to survive too. Everything is going up around us so yes, the cost of food in a restaurant is as well. And when the food is prepared as well as it was here with the most friendliest service an additional dollar is nothing to complain about. This will be a go to when we are...
