I recently went by the Florida Governors Mansion at 700 N Adams St, in Tallahassee, FL. It was not open to visitors because the government was not in session. The grounds look beautiful and I hope I can make it back there when in session.

Just walked by, but have to cross the street to walk on a sidewalk, funny how sidewalk ends then magically appears again when you're past the mansion... Desantis sure doesn't want the place looking friendly, more like hidden...

Fantastic tour of the governor's mansion. The tour guide was very nice and had lots of interesting information about the house and events surrounding it. I absolutely recommend anyone take the tour if you have the time.

I was with my boys and we decided to climb up into the magnolia tree out front of the mansion. Gorgeous tree, spiral staircase. If you've never climbed a magnolia, I can't recommend it enough. Anyways, we were just finishing up, when a few officers come our way. Said it wasn't normal to see 3 grown men climbing up in a tree. We all got a kick out of it. They asked for our info, we gave it to them, and we all just sorta chilled under the magnolia tree. All in all, it was a good experience. 10/10 would climb up in...

It is so nice to actually, attend, watch, have access to our government in action. Learning the history and having a first hand sense of what really goes on, as opposed to getting information on issues from the various filters of opinion pressed upon us by the different media outlets, is very refreshing!!
