rip off. I took in several lg items my twin's have outgrown( double stroller, ride on toys, pack n plays, etc) all in excellent used condition. it took over an hr for them to get my stuff priced. at this point both of my twins were screaming. the pack n plays & stroller were folded out... you get the point. they offered me $70 for everything. I noted that she said they would sell the stroller alone for $75 & she corrected me saying, no in it's condition they would sell it for $80..... at this point I should have taken my stuff, but the thought of having to disassemble everything and shove it back into my van in the florida heat, with no help, & two screaming babies didn't sound so appealing. I took the $, but I will never do business with these people again, and wanted to leave this here in case someone else was thinking of selling them their stuff. in total what I basically gave them will make them well over $300. I know they are running a business & are there to make money, but it shouldn't be at the cost of ripping off their customers. that is what they did. They ripped me off, plain and simple. and I was put in a position where it was almost impossible for me to back out.All in all it was very shady business...
Read moreHad a great experience selling to Kids Pointe. The staff I interacted with were all very nice and helpful, especially since it was my first time selling. They let me know ahead of time that it may take a few days to process our clothing and that was totally fine. I brought in 2 large tote bags of baby clothes, some never worn and most only worn a handful of times. Ahead of time, I checked these clothes for staining and tears and only brought them the best of what we had. They bought most of it and we donated the rest to foster care. I got a better deal than I would have if I had tried to sell on Facebook Marketplace and without any of the hassle.
The store itself was very clean and well organized. They have a huge selection, especially of clothes and larger baby toys. I will definitely be back!
My recommendations for selling here are to make an appointment online and get started on the right foot. It seems like they have a lot of people coming in to sell and need to pace themselves. Also read the selling tips on their website!! They were so helpful when I was sorting and trying to decide what to bring in. Pretty much just check the website before getting started and you should have a...
Read moreGreat prices and options to choose from. HOWEVER, customer service SUCKS. They’re not very friendly. It’s like talking to a brick wall. They’re always talking to other employees. I get this is a consignment shop, but that’s unprofessional in any job. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 16 (I’m 25 now) and these ladies look my age, if not older. They should know better to not engage in personal conversation when customers are present. It’s distracting, unprofessional, makes the company look bad, and results the owner looking bad. As I’ve learned in the last 9 years, it all starts from training, how the management treats the staff, and how the management tells the staff to treat the customers (or lack thereof). It’s sad, but I’d rather spend MORE money and receive better customer service elsewhere. Yes, I know you probably won’t care, but people need to know and I hope the owner will read this and care to know that their staff is...
