Friday was my first time going to AQ and I can honestly say the money you pay is worth the experience and product. I’ve gotten my nails done many a times before and always had an issue, either the nails weren’t the same, one broke a few days after, the product chipped, the tech didn’t listen, etc. just to save a few bucks (literally a few bucks). This place is definitely somewhere you want to go when you want to get pampered and forget life for an hour or two. From the moment you walk in you are at ease with the aesthetics, greeted right away by friendly staff members, the noise level is minimal, no red flags to be seen, plus they have a cocktail bar with 1 max complimentary drink!

My tech was Sam and he was amazing to say the least. The quality work he did in the amount of time (1hr) was mind blowing. I’ve gotten way worse in the same amount of time so now I know what is achievable and will never settle for less again. I requested a full set in stiletto shape but with a little less point so I can function with black gel plus a matte top coat and that is exactly what I got! They are all uniform, the strength is not something I’m going to worry about, the cuticles actually got maintained, the finish is flawless. Sam was sweet, informative, listened to what I had to say and absolutely executed. He will definitely be the person I request from here on out. Thanks for killing it, Sam! 💅 🖤

I have to say something about Tee because his customer service is impeccable! A friendly face with a warm welcome right when you walk in is so appreciated. He checks on you multiple times throughout your time there to make sure you are happy with the service you are receiving and that you are enjoying your time. Tee is also there to complete your transaction, add reward points to your profile and offer the use of complimentary lotion in a myriad of scents before you strut your new set in the real world. Thanks for the cheerful demeanor you bring to AQ from start to finish! 💪

I did go with a friend and she received a pedicure and full set. This was actually her first time in 36 years to go to a salon and get any type of service. I’m really glad we decided to go here and make her first experience worth it. (She has been going through a very rough time the last year with the death of her mother, being a single mother, ups and downs of life that we all go through) she deserved everything she got that day, she was very happy with all of the services she received and definitely felt pampered and special. During her pedicure she even had a tequila sunrise 🍹 I don’t have the name is the pedicure tech but once I do I will add her name [here]. Her work was so good and they turned out awesome! Nick was her manicure tech and he was so efficient and uniform as well, highly recommend.

All in all this place is great from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I will definitely be returning from here on out. I will recommend this place to anyone that needs a recommendation for...

My sister and I both got a $67, 45 minute pedicure. She started before me and finished 10 minutes after me. My massage was very rushed in every way, almost like he was racing to beat the other technician. I said something to my sister when he was finished that my service was only 30 min. The other technician heard and said something to him. He came back and put more lotion on and massaged me for 5 more minutes and asked me if everything was okay. He was massaging again, so I said yes. He finished (again) and my sister was still getting her treatment. I had taken a picture of my color as I sat down, so I was able to look back and see what time I started. They asked about our service upon check out. I said it was fine. She questioned further so I said it was a little short. She said she would talk to him and give me a discount for the time difference. She went and asked the technician and he said he gave me an extra massage at the end, and he kept track with his timer. He did have a timer on his cart, but he never turned it on. My treatment began at 3:40 and ended at 4:10 (after the return massage). She came back and said she was sorry it “seemed” shorter, but it was probably that I just “enjoyed it too much”. There was no discount, just an apology for my “bad experience”.

The manager responded to my Facebook review and said they could “guarantee that we were 100% honest with the service” because they have the tickets showing I checked in at 15:31 and checked out at 16:24.

Unforunately, the amount of time spent in the chair does not equate to the amount of time being serviced. He got up and started another customers nails while I sat and waited for my sisters service to finish. My tech started much later on me and finished much earlier. Yes, I was in the chair, but I was not receiving service that entire duration.

He was very rushed in every aspect. He started on me after another tech started on my sister (who got the same treatment) and finished early so he could go do another customers nails. I sat in the chair and let my polish dry while I waited for my sister to finish. Her technician even put the foam flipflops on me because he’d already moved on to someone else.

Just wanted to warn other potential customers of the poor service, but in the treatment and customer service after. The receptionist asked me if she could speak to a manager to give me money off since I didn’t receive the full treatment time, but went and asked the technician who did my treatment. He, of course, denied a shortened treatment. She apologized and I said it was fine, I just want to...

I tried this nail spa out 3 times as of today and it seems as though they have a problem assisting people of different cultures. I asked to have my eye brows waxed and asked that they are waxed to look even this time because the last time the young lady Hedi had my eye bows looking completely different. I enjoyed the pedicure service all the way up until it was time for my wax. The young lady by the name Hannah sits me down and ask me how would I like my brows. I ask for them to be full and to look the same. She then advises that she could not do that service. I asked why and she says because she can’t do what I requested which was a typical wax. I then asked for the Manager to try and better explain my request. The manager comes back and tells me he that my request could not be complete because they clean up and do not arch the brows, he proceeded to talk over me and told me I should go somewhere else for my services. I said okay np, this looks like it will be my last time coming here because I am looking for a place that can complete both services of my eyebrows and pedicure. As I attempted to pay for my services and advised I would make a review on Google because of how I was talked too. I asked for his name as he is requesting to take my payment advising that I need to pay before I complete payment. ( I thought he was the manger) he advised that he was the Owner Rudely! And states that he “Knows me” I am not sure what that means. I really took it as a racial insult honestly. I came to receive services just as everyone else as a paying customer. His unprofessionalism was really surprising now having an understanding that he is the owner. To profile your customers is unbelievable. I set inside as I completed this review while my pedicure dries. He should really rethink how he treats paying customers going forward as he just lost a customer over a simple misunderstanding due to a language barrier and no effort to understand what I even saying/requesting. I understand that I can get my nails done any where as there are nails spas all over the City, the Owner should understand Customer service is apart of the service he is providing to...

Had a builder gel “manicure” and gel pedicure on Thursday 3/20/25 with Kelvin. The nail art, color, and shape were done exactly like my inspiration which I was satisfied with but as far as the actual manicure part goes, I was quite disappointed. It felt like he rushed through the process, as he did not do any cuticle prep other than using the drill bits and buffer to prep the nail bed for builder gel (not even pushing them back or clipping the excess skin that you can see is still visible). Every other place I have gone to usually takes most of their time on the actual nail prep before applying any builder gel and shaping. In turn, this makes my nails look like they are already grown out when I just got them done 2 days ago. I noticed the other technician next to me was very meticulous with their client and took the time with the nail prep prior to doing any nail art, application of gel, and even offered a lotion massage at the end, but that was completely lacking with my manicure. Perhaps I caught him a day that he felt the need to rush or just forgot. For $65 base for the builder, +$10 for nail art, +$5 for shape, and a tip, I expected a more detailed and proper experience. The pedicure was great though but I would probably not return for manicures moving forward. Also, I noticed that there were complementary drinks offered to other clients upon their services starting but I wasn’t offered anything by the technician or any other staff which I thought was a little odd. With almost $150 spent and coming due to such high reviews, I did expect a bit of a more curated experience! For reference, the set with the pearls and blue seashells are previous sets I have done (the hello kitty one is the one I got at AQ) with other nail techs back home and it was also builder but you can tell how much cleaner they look because of the extra nail/cuticle prep which should be a given when you are paying upwards of $80!

LIARS, SCAM. very unprofessional people. if you’re in the tampa area DO NOT come here. when i first walked in i asked her how much the total was gonna be before i started my nails because on the booking site all it said was $55+. she then told me that the total was gonna be $60, but after she finished my nails she proceeded to tell me that the total was $122 and that she had “told me from the start”, which she in fact did not. she was very adamant from the beginning that the total was $60. this is how these nail salons get you lol. i would never in my life willingly pay over $90 for nails especially a short set like this one, and one that was poorly done at that. i wanted to go here because i saw a few people recommending this place and showing how nice the salon itself looked. but they scammed me and the employees themself were not that nice once i spoke up for myself primarily the tall skinny guy who spoke to me very aggressively, didn’t give me a chance to speak and said he would call the cops on me if i didn’t pay the price that was NOT discussed to me. ALSOOO!!! i wanna add that they claim i had the receipt from the beginning but that’s not true the lady at the front desk handed the receipt to the lady doing my nails and never once gave it to me until it was time to PAY. and as you call tell from their reply they don’t do well with feedback, and get upset when you stand up for yourself. i still paid for my service at the end of the day! but i will NOT be returning back here ever and this is a warning to you all wanting to come to this place. looks nice but the people aren’t. i also told you guys to show me the footage and you didn’t you mentioned the police after i did and the only reason i left was because i’m not the type to argue i paid for my service and left with a honest review of my experience. i wouldn’t want to cause a scene in a business but i WILL share my experiences thank you.
