UPDATE 7/17/24. The co-owner of this Salon, Rebecca is relentless! Two years later she is harassing me over this post! I deleted a photo from this post two days ago. As a result apparently Google updated the date. I get a call from Rebecca who continued to repeat herself that she is going to send me photos of this post to see what is going on. I explained to her that I am sick, I can barely speak, that I did not post a new review saying I was in two days ago, that I deleted photos from my review and that was it. She would not stop. She would not get off the phone even though I am sick. She then said she was going to get my review taken down as fraud because the date changed. She was as rude, unhelpful, and bulldozed the conversation just as she did two years ago when this salon DESTROYED my hair (it has never been the same since). I stand by my review to RUN!!!
9/23/22: RUN!!!!!!
Please see before, inspiration, and after photos. This is the second time this salon has ruined my hair color. I went back because I was told I was now with an “expert”.
The staff is not trained in proper techniques. My first visit my highlights were applied with an incorrect technique. This time I visited with light hair and naturally darker roots see photo) and asked for more or an ombré root (see photo). When the color was first washed out I had a full head of dark hair, all blended. My blonde hair that was not meant to be colored was never protected when washing out the color. She said this can be corrected my removing the toner. After this process was done the color that was just done was removed leaving my hair a slightly lighter than the brown, a bronze orange color.
-I was then told that I am wrong, that my hair is back to platinum blonde at the end, and that if it isn’t platinum blonde she must be blind -When I then had to hold a photo of my hair next to my current hair I was told that it’s not her fault that the dye is very dark and will spread to my hair when washing out (this can be prevented by protecting the hair) which is conflicting her previous statement where she just argued I am platinum blonde -She then told me that I needed to see my hair dried and curled, that will somehow change the color and I will like it -I was then CHARGED FOR THE BLOW DRY she insisted on, and charged for the root ombré color and toner that had to be removed -When asking to speak to a manager about these charges I was yelled at, talked over, and told that they were GOING CALL THE POLICE if I did not pay, that she was at a soccer game and did not have time to deal with this -After hanging up on me at 8:35 the receptionist told me that I need to respect her time also because she was supposed to finish at 8:30. When I explained the scenario is a bit different because she is at work and paid to be there and I am being forced to pay to be there - she then started yelling at me -I was told the manager would contact me this morning, she didn’t, when I called I was hung up on -When a manager did reach out she refused to give my my money back. This the 2nd time and no, I do not trust them to fix my hair as a solution as they clearly aren’t trained in proper techniques -When I said if they are not willing to give me my money back for poor service I will need to share my experience and photos with others so they don’t end up like me I was yelled at that I am the one threatening them, that I am bullying them, that she is glad she has me on a recorded line, and that she has two pieces of paperwork I signed and I can’t do anything about it. She said this to me as I sat crying asking her to be reasonable and refund services that I was extremely...
Read moreI have never experienced this before. Do not come to get your nails done. The girl doing my nails was very nice, but I don’t think she’s ever done nails before. My pedicure alone took over an hour and fifteen minutes. I have never seen anyone put polish on the way that it was put on my nails. While doing my pedicure, she was putting a scrub on my leg, didn’t even get all of it off. Then, she’s putting a mask on my feet and legs, she accidentally gets it on her clothes. She takes the towel, wipes the mask off her clothes and then puts the towel on my leg. She is scraping my nails with the cuticle pusher and pulling it off with the same tool. The pedicure looked awful and she didn’t even get to lotion because she said the toes were still drying and we will do it after. The same process happened to my manicure which also took an hour to do. I have never seen a manicure come out this way. Clumps, spots, it looked awful. I didn’t even want the lotion because I was there from 11am until 1pm just for a mani and pedi. I got to the register to cash out and I informed her how disappointed I was in the service and I showed her my nails and she was shocked at the service I received. She instantly gave me the number to call management to get a refund. I informed the girl at the register that I will pay for my toes because I wear sneakers everyday but I cannot pay for this manicure. She told me it is set in the system that way but management will give me the refund as she saw how my nails were. I agree and go to grab my card, and in addition to me have strokes and blotches on my nail, they still were not dry and smudged back. The girl offered to have it fixed but it was already over two hours and I did not need to sit longer with someone who did not know how to paint nails. I instantly called management after my appointment and explained and they gave me a refund immediately which I am relieved about. If you offer a service, please have licensed and experienced individuals performing the service. Absolutely shocked and disappointed, I ended up having to take the polish off and paint my nails at home instead, after having to rearrange my entire day for an appointment that took two hours and this mani pedi was for an event I had...
Read moreI have been coming here for years and overall have had a good experience. However I was about 25 minutes late for my 2:00pm appointment and they charged me a full no show fee of over $200. I tried calling to let them know I was running behind but it just went to the call center and not to the salon. Since I was late I offered to skip the hair cut portion and deep conditioning portion and the blowout portion of my visit, and just do my color, so that stylist wouldn’t feel rushed. I was literally okay with leaving the salon with wet hair if I needed to lol! I was told that they could not take me because my stylist had double booked herself and had a client coming in at 3:00pm , even though my confirmation showed that my appointment was until 4:15pm. The girl at front said that they would waive my no show fee if I just called customer service. I was happy with that answer and happy to reschedule because I truly understood and did not want my stylist to feel overwhelmed as it seemed that she got double booked and I was late.
I did call customer service and they said it could not be waived. They did not seem to care that previously I was told that it would be waived.
I understand the importance of having a no show policy because it is not fair for the stylist to have people no show up to their appointments, but reason I am leaving this review is because I was told one thing at the salon and then was told another thing on the phone. In all 3 years that been going to this salon, I also have never been late, and no where does it say in the policy that I signed that you will be charged a no show fee if you are late to the appointment. It only states that you would be charged if you do not show up to your appointment. This salon definitely has talented artists, but they overbook their artist and their customer support team is on different page. Although I love the work that my stylist does, she is incredibly talented and hardworking, the experience I had with customer service has left a bad taste with me and I...
