I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Everglades University, Tampa Campus. I am pursuing a Construction Management degree at Everglades University, and my experience has been incredibly positive. I want to highlight the exceptional support and interactions I've had with the university's administration, faculty, and library services.
From the very beginning, the administrative staff at Everglades University have been welcoming and helpful. They guided me through the enrollment process, making it easy to start. Whenever I've had questions or needed assistance with administrative matters, they have provided the necessary information quickly and courteously.
The faculty members at the university are genuinely dedicated to their students' success. They go the extra mile by offering regular office hours and valuable assignment feedback. Their genuine interest in helping students learn and grow is evident, and it has made a significant difference in my educational journey.
Additionally, the library services at Everglades University have been instrumental in my studies. The library resources and support staff have been invaluable in conducting research and accessing essential materials for my coursework. The availability of on-campus and online resources has made studying and completing assignments much more manageable. My positive interactions with the administration, faculty, and library services at Everglades University have contributed significantly to my academic success and overall satisfaction with my educational experience. I am grateful for their support as I work towards my degree in Construction Management and prepare to become a licensed State of Florida Certified Contractor. I highly recommend this university to anyone pursuing their...
Read moreIf you're prior military then look no further because this is the best school to attend with the GI Bill. If you don't have that luxury though, I would still highly recommend this school.
Any school can offer you an education, what sets this specific university in Tampa apart from the rest is the family you join. No matter what life throws at you, you will never feel like you're doing this challenge alone. I've herd horror stories of other schools not offering people the classes they need and they couldn't graduate on time, the administrators here in Tampa will NEVER let you sink like that(they'll even put you one on one with the professor to make sure you graduate on time). The community is so tight knit that the administrators will even call to check up on you.
The professors here are the spearheads of their careers. You get to interact with them on a more one on one basis. You're not in a class with 300 other students with no opportunity to ask questions. These professor shape and mold you so you can execute what you learn in the classroom to the career you choose. The best part is they actually were involved in their careers and have direct experience in the trade instead of just reading about it like some academia professors. That well of untapped knowledge is vast and you have direct access to it.
If I could do it all again, I would still pick this school over USF and UT because of the kind of environment Dean Carlson and her administrators create on a daily and consistent basis at the school. I've never felt like I didn't belong here and I know it's thanks to the team behind the scenes and the amount of work they put in to provide us with this experience. I look forward to seeing all the future family that decide to...
Read moreI don't normally give 5 stars but Everglades University Tampa campus has been great. The university is not big and the classrooms are small but do not have a lot of students in the classrooms which allows more student-teacher interaction. The faculty are very nice and helpful. This is not your traditional university type where 4 or more classes are piled on you and you're cramming to study for a bunch of different classes. EU is an accelerated university you take one class every month and class schedules fit around those students schedules who work or have things going on outside of school. You don't pick the classes you take or can take which I feel is kind of a ding but at the same time, you don't have to compete with others to get into a class you need to take. The staff will work with you to make sure everything is going well and they want you to succeed and are involved with you the whole way. I don't like school but being here has made it more enjoyable and easier to learn. The campus does a lot of volunteer opportunities and is big on their veterans, but also regular students. They do get-togethers to promote positive attitudes and well-being. They make holidays feel fun and friendly and do potlucks on campus. This by far has been an awesome experience. I will be transferring to the Sarasota campus and will see if it's the same or different from what I have experienced here at the Tampa campus, they have on-campus security that is friendly and takes their job seriously to keep students and...
