Super delicious, classy & healthy!!! Seasons 52, healthy noms with consistency across the nation, Yaasss! When we moved down here from Chicago, we were sad to give up one of our favorite places, but then we discovered we had one right here in Tampa, we were elated. We always get sent giftcards for here from our parents for our anniversary/birthdays so we go all the time and always spend much more than we set out, but it's so hard not to try everything, we love the ever changing menu!! I am absolutely in love with the Ricotta Raviolis, and chefs Derek Moore & Dan Cusack by now knew me by name, because I am quite obsessed. The staff is so personable and friendly, we always feel welcome. I am ever grateful to Craig who helped me discover my new favorite wine, a RED that was effervescent & slightly sweet, which was so perfect, because I rarely like reds! It was compared to a what a Red Moscato would be, but neither of us knew how to pronounce the name "Quercioli..." something...but it's amazing! All the beverages I ever get here are delicious, my other favorites being the Watermelon Agua Fresca, the Red Sangria, and my go-to favorite (which I still don't know what it's called but I've been getting for years) is a sparkly raspberry & mint concoction, no alcohol, just deliciously refreshing!
We've tried so many dishes over the years, one of my favorites is no longer in circulation, but I hope & pray they bring back the Goat Cheese, Fig & Basil appetizer, it is one of my ALL TIME favs, and I miss it dearly! My husband always goes for the Ahi Tuna salad, it's divine! We are mostly pescatarian, but have tried some other items before, like the Chicken Pesto flatbread is pretty tasty, as is the artichoke flatbread. I have gotten the Cedar Plank Salmon with roasted Veggies the past few times, and I usually can only eat small portions before becoming full, but I always want a tidge more after finishing this yummy dish. I've tried the Sea Scallops (my mother's FAVORITE dish), and Risotto, which I surprised myself because normally I am not such a big fan, but it was mighty tasty! I usually like to try their seasonal soups, and the chilis are usually good, but the runnier soups like I believe was the butternut squash, leaves something to be desired, it's missing something....
Then, for dessert, when you are greeted with the the selection of mini indulgences... you'll want to take them all...they are heavenly. The chocolate s'more/mousse/cake combo is definitely my favorite, but the Key Lime and Crème Brûleé are good too.
Seasons 52 never disappoints, and we always look forward to coming here! We don't normally go to chain-restaurants, but this one has us coming...
Read moreI usually hesitate to leave negative reviews, but my recent experiences at Season 52 near Westshore have been so distressing that I feel compelled to share. On September 10th, I encountered an oversight in my order: I received a single chicken breast instead of the promised chicken tenders, and my salad dressing was loosely packed, causing a spill. These issues might have been easily overlooked, but my subsequent interaction with the manager, JT, was profoundly disappointing.
When we reached out to inform the restaurant of the mix-up and placed a new order on the 14th, JT's demeanor was unprofessional from the onset. Instead of listening and expressing understanding, he was dismissive, questioning why we waited days to report the issue. When my fiancé tried explaining her work schedule, he was abrupt and displayed a lack of patience. During this conversation, I felt it necessary to point out his unprofessionalism, hoping for a change in his attitude. But, sadly, this did not happen.
Upon picking up our order, I decided to speak with JT in person, hoping that a face-to-face discussion might lead to a better understanding. But his responses were merely repetitive "ands", effectively dismissing my feelings and concerns. The icing on the cake was his pompous provision of the GM's card and suggesting we take up the matter with them, instead of addressing the issue at hand. This interaction left me feeling humiliated, belittled and disrespected. To be treated this way, in person, was utterly demeaning. His attitude was not only unprofessional but also emotionally jarring.
I have dined at Season 52 multiple times and always had a delightful experience, but this singular interaction with JT has marred my perception of the establishment. It's unfortunate because the issue wasn't even about the salad mistake, but about the manner in which a managerial representative of a reputed restaurant chose to treat loyal customers. Respect and empathy are foundational in hospitality, and on this occasion, both were glaringly absent.
It's concerning to think that someone with such a demeanor holds a managerial position at a reputable establishment. Leadership roles in the hospitality industry require a blend of professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service skills. JT's actions, based on my experience, starkly contrast with these expectations. One must wonder if he is truly suited for such a role, as his approach could potentially tarnish the restaurant's reputation and alienate its loyal...
