Zero Latency VR Tampa — Local services in Tampa

Took my daughter here, and we had loads of fun. The business concept is absolutely a great idea and I hope they continue to succeed. As someone familiar with the capabilities of home VR setups and also dabbled in development, I was disappointed at the quality of the equipment and interactivity. You get more space to roam, but that's about it. Ditching hand controllers for a weapon was a fantastic idea, but two things that I think could take the experience to another level is to have a vest with force feedback points on it (so you can tell when something is hitting you from behind), as well as a basic sensor on the hands to interact with items in the world. We played Singularity, and oftentimes a drone would float SO close to us, and my gun was busy reloading, that I wanted to just reach out with my hand and smack it away... instead I had to sit there like a moron and get shot at while my weapon recharged. The shield feature also did not work very often. There were also some minor issues with calibration of aim on the gun, perhaps adding a small aim calibration piece to the start of the game would be helpful.

I don't know if this is the same for all locations, but this one had issues with the computer stuttering in-game, generating a loud buzzing sound, halting the rendering, and breaking the immersion. It wasn't just our game, either - we watched others play and at random moments throughout the experience it would occur.

Overall, I'll definitely be back - but I want to wait for a few technology upgrades before I give it...

I had an incredibly disappointing experience I arrived with my children excited to play, but we were made to wait for a staggering two hours before being allowed in. To make matters worse, once we finally got in, the place was closing down, and my kids didn't even get the chance to play. Despite charging my card, the staff refused to refund our money. When we requested a refund, the employees were extremely rude, resorting to name-calling and making rude remarks. It's crazy how poorly we were treated. Not only did they fail to provide the service we paid for, but their customer service was terrible. I reached out to them for a resolution, but there response was to call me fraudulent. Needless to say, I will never set foot in that establishment again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well. This was a completely unacceptable experience, and I wouldn't recommend this...

OMG this has got to be the best VR gaming place ever. Our host Eric was magnificent. We did the private session only two of us so we had so much room to run/walk. The game was so realistic my heart was beating so fast like I was really in the game. It was spacious enough to do what we needed to do but we still kept running into each other trying to have each others backs it was soooo funny! Be prepared to be amazed! Oh yes we did OUTBREAK with the zombies and I cannot stress how realistic it was. Wear short hot and heavy playing this game. It was a real adventure. The guns were so real easy to shoot and handle. The VR headset was smooth and easy to see through! Just do it it was soooooo worth every penny! Thank you Eric and thank you Zero Latency we will definitely be back, bring anyone we can, and tell everyone...
