If I could put 0 stars I would. This has been my WORST experience in a jewelry store, I am NEVER coming back. When you go to the jewelers for a repair, you expect to receive the same item that you left to be repaired. That didn’t happen with the owner Jimmy. Jimmy swapped out my jewelry for a piece that was of MUCH LESSER value. He kept my more expensive gold jewelry for himself, which says a lot about his character. What he tried to pass off as mine was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the jewelry I had left to be repaired. When I tried to explain to him this was not my item, he very rudely told me that it was the one I had left and refused to give mine back. He lied straight to my face and knew he was lying. He knows he did wrong because he was acting very nervous and guilty. There was another client present at the time that was shocked with his attitude. Called Havana jeweler’s April 3rd when they opened and asked if they could re-plate with rhodium a silver engagement ring last minute for me and my fiancés wedding on April 4th, and he agreed to do it same day. When I dropped it off he was very nice and knowledgeable on the experience. He called a few hours later for us to pick up and it was better than I ever imagined! BUYERS BEWARE! Hate to leave a negative review but I have to share my honest experience. My grandmother went in recently to have a necklace fixed by Jimmy at Havana jewelers and what she dropped off is not what she received!! Unfortunately after confronting Jimmy about this- he was not only smug but didn’t really seem to care about making this right at all!
