Highland Pines Park — Attraction in Tampa

The park is a great place, but it has a few draw backs. Homeless people use the park which the problem was that the Pavillion we were able to get, was strewn with close to 100 cigarette butts. They were being picked up by the smallest children who kept trying to put them in their mouthes. We were trying to celebrate the 1st Birthday of my Grandbaby. The other pavilion was in use. It was so bad that I drove home and brought back a broom and dust pan. Other than this issue, it is a Beautiful park. I enjoy that you don't have to reserve it or pay to use the pavilions.
