I am so grateful this "black owned" business exists. During my 10 years of going natural, I was told that there's many trial and error products that I'll have to try to find my fit product. Well after 10 years and hundreds of dollars, I found my oils. One day while my friendgirl was braiding my hair, she proceeded to oil my scalp with what seemed to be herbs and berries (lol not really the berry part), I asked what it was, she shared that it was her personal concoction from "My Shade & Texture"... whaaat, really, huh?. So long story short, I visited the store that day, with the help of the staff, I too created my concoction, this was 8 months ago, my hair is longer and thicker (especially my crown area) because I'm using what works FOR ME, not someone else. My Shade & Texture is a Tampa gem! It's the only store I buy my hair products from. All the products are carefully curated by the owner Pan and she offers a wide range of products for various textures. The quality is exceptional; every product I've tried has exceeded expectations. The atmosphere is inviting and Pam provides personalized recommendations, creating a wonderful shopping experience.

Most recently my girl group and I tried the Blend and Glow experience. It was amazing and I would highly recommend gathering your gang and and doing it. We had a blast making our own products guided by Pam's expertise. The price for the experience was so reasonable and we not only walked away with 2 personalized products but enjoyed a handmade cocktail, photo booth and a ton of laughs!
