Full disclosure: I have known Mary, her store manager Judy and several of their employees for years. I will try to be objective. I have spent about 10k at Mary's stores over the years and have no regrets. While the new Mountain Lifestyle location is more 'Upscale Rustic Cabins and Lodge' style, the original flagship 'Taos Lifestyle' is the perfect mix of modern and contemporary furnishings with a bit of an emphasis on the bedroom. I recently moved to Santa Fe and tried at least 10 stores over several months and nothing was as good. I ended up buying about a half a household and having them ship it down here. All of this was easy and affordable. When there WAS a problem with an electric recliner...they just got me a new one. No problem. TL's prices and service are the best in Northern New Mexico. We had a wonderful shopping experience yesterday! Popped in on a whim 30 minutes before they closed, looked at the beds & Aaron came to greet us, not trying to push or sale or even rushed us, he was just being available for us. He was helpful, knowledgeable & sprinkled his own experience in beds/sleep health. Mary came over to talk to us, she is always so friendly & kind, if you haven’t met her, she’s an amazing woman! We ordered a bed, frame & box spring at a very comparable price point of online sellers & we got to try the beds before buying.
