Harbor Freight — Local services in Taos

Paid $158 restocking fee for opening the box. The dual fuel 5000w Dual Fuel has good reviews, yet, it was entirely impossible to put it in a small compartment, in my motor home, with safety and exhaust. Clerk said it had been used. The second clerk was told to smell the tank, and said it smells of fuel. I bought it for its propane feature, removed it from the box, only to measure it. No pre-sales help. Was I sold a pre-purchased product? At no time was gas, oil, or propane, put in the item. Never started! Key fob, everything was as returned, as we recieved it, all accessories perfectly sealed in packages. I returned it in under 72 hours. Discouraged, disappointed. Just bought somebody's discount. I've been needing an air compressor & held off purchasing for a couple of weeks, waiting for this store to open. Have been a big fan of Harbor Freight so was excited to see this one come to Taos.

Store was larger than my old one. What a treat! I came with one thing in mind & made sure not to wander the aisles & was lucky to have a very nice employee help me go through the 3 i had focused on, and then he even loaded my lovely new compressor into my vehicle.

Cashiers were nice & fast. It was mid afternoon with about 6 in line. I was back at work within 20 minutes! Crazy fast. Glad to have Harbor...

Glad to finally have a harbor freight in Taos, but the staff here was outstanding. I came in looking for a specific tool, and Miguel took his time to hunt it down for me.
