Gold's Gym Taylor — Attraction in Taylor

This place is has become nothing other than a bad tarnish on the Gold’s Gym name. The equipment is poorly maintained, most of the cables are frayed and not functioning properly, the seat covers are all are frayed, children aged 14 are now training in there regularly, there’s a “personal trainer” who’s actually not a personal trainer nor certified in any capacity who brings in a personal speaker overpowering the gyms sound system. This trainer brings approximately 5-10 people in with him who are all using about 6 machines at once, they leave equipment scattered throughout the gym and it’s never returned to its proper place when this fake personal trainer leaves. 40$ a month, 160$ annual fee puts membership cost at well over 500$ a year to tolerate this obscenity that takes place in this gym. I started here before it was Golds and have been loyal through all the years and honestly I’m over it at this point. This place is basically a downgrade version of planet fitness these days. Great gym been going to it before it was a gold and before they officially launched and from day 1 once person in particular has made the experience as a whole the best it could ever have been and that’s Natalie. She’s always friendly and has a great smile on her face no matter what she’s doing she will always answer any questions you have and go out of her way to do everything she can to help you she truly makes the experience all the better I’d suggest anyone looking to get a membership here ask for a tour from her she will make you feel welcomed before you even sign up! All in all I couldn’t recommend any other gym besides this one a great gym, good people, amazing staff and 24 hrs what else...

We are writing on the behalf of the family who have been coming here for years through our fitness your way membership. I wanted to submit some feedback on the recent decision to not turn the AC on during the last few summer weeks. We work out really hard and the lack of AC has been really overwhelming as it’s been so hot. We have a few other gyms memberships and will needing to switch, at least until the AC situation is fixed. This is unfortunate because we love it here.

Additionally, I think they’d really benefit from hiring a cleaning crew at least once a week.
