We came here on a Friday evening, and it was nice to enjoy the area without too many people hiking around and being loud. It is close to the highway, so you will hear cars and trucks passing by.
A wonderful and well maintained park. Trails are easy to walk through, and there are many amazing spots to view. Trails are well maintained and easy to navigate. Take a picture of the map Trails, and it's pretty straight forward from there. Trails are very easy to walk through.
The glacier holes are always interesting to see. The area is very photogenic. There are bugs flying around but also expect a lot of mosquitoes as there were already some in late spring. It is expected as the water in the glacier holes don't go anywhere.

We parked here to see Interstate State Park. We were greeted by person working at visitor center. It sells some souvenir like t shirts. There are displays about park history and the natural features like glacial potholes in the park. We stayed on the Minnesota side of Interstate State Park. We briefly started hiking the potholes trail. I was fascinated by these glacial carvings in the Earth. I did just a wee hike. We stayed only about an hour but it's really a nice park and I am glad I got to see the glacial...

An incredibly amazing experience! We forgot we were in Minnesota the land of corn and beans for a bit. This unique geological area transports one to another time and another place! Unbelievable rock formations, beautiful scenic vistas, lush green vegetation….🤯!!! The park has modern clean facilities with plenty of easily accessible parking. Helpful and friendly park employees.
