Adventure Falls Miniature Golf — Local services in Taylors Falls

Staff was kind. We went for the mini golf only so that’s what I’m reviewing. The course was pretty disappointing regarding the actual design of the courses. Landscaping needed some love and attention especially with it being the peak time of year for businesses to thrive. There were a lot of dead leaves and even wood chips scattered all on the ‘green’ so putting wasn’t very good as all of that was throwing our ball off in different directions. Also, maybe some simple drainage solutions would be nice because there were also a lot of puddles of standing water throughout the course also so we were walking through puddles and constantly having to get our ball out of those spots as well. Positioned next to The Drive In Restaurant in beautifullly scenic Taylors Falls, this course is located in a wonderful spot. Our group did encounter a number of flaws with the course design, such as multiple trap spots that are simply no fun at all. Maintenance of the course also seemed a little outdated, with worn materials in too many spots to overlook. And on the day we played, the course was absolutely littered with leaves. Despite all these issues, our group all had fun. One of us managed a quite brilliant under par round thanks to their consistent putting, while another in our group scored a spectacular three hole-in-ones during their round. I had a terrible time of things, but the setting, and the fact we did have players who - mostly - navigated the issues we found, just about gets me...

The mini golf course was super fun, easy for younger kids which was nice. My only two complaints are that we arrived at 10:30 when they opened and asked to buy for 4, and the kid said “I don’t know when we open”. We told him it said 10:30 online so he helped us pay but he was really struggling. I feel like they need an adult somewhere to at least help them open the place up. It’s not his fault. The second complaint is that the water wasn’t running yet on the mini golf course, and that’s not a huge deal but it was warm enough for it to be running. Otherwise, they maintain the course...
