I belv this place or different owner used to sell venison at this place hence name "Be Wild", but alas no more.
Service was terrific. Received what was ordered, answered all questions. No problem here.
Atmosphere is all outside. No indoor seating. I consider that to be Take Out.
Outside there are three picnic tables and guessing three round metal tables with movable chairs. Wheelchair accessible all around to any. Picnic tables were damp so pants were damp. Could not set food down on it. Ate off the side. Taking off one star because have to brave elements to eat here. Better be nice outside.
Did not see any bathrooms. Hopefully not a port-a-potty as that would stink for someone in wheelchair.
Food was good. Cheeze curds were white cheeze and breaded but not deep fried to crisp. Came with dill-ranch? dressing and also generic catsup.
This is where may be issue. Burger patties were overly flattened to maybe to 1/4 inch of their lives. Can't undercook something that thin. Patty was definitely bigger than bun by 1/2 inch all around and a bit crispy. Center was not dry. I got a swiss/mushroom and seems to be buttery. If you like those butter burgers from Culvers, these are 100% like those. This one was also buttery as well I might add. interesting.... not a fan of Culvers burgers btw if you could not tell. Taking one star off for overly flat crispy burgers.
Haven't met a place in WI which makes burgers to order. All places "burn" those patties. That place will get five stars easily for food!
Forgot to order a malt.... :(
They are not open half weekend and also closed MON. Taking star off of service for that.
Would not come here regularly. You should try it at least once. I was there around 2p. Lot was full. They get much...
Read moreSwung through this weekend for the first time because I'd heard you all had a mean ham and swiss. Felt a little deflated when I saw the menu was all burgers (just because I'd been eating them all week) BUT THEN I saw the carnitas taco on the menu and instantly forgot about the ham and swiss mission.
As Hank Hill would say, let me tell you what, that carnitas is something! Meat was perfectly cooked, scrumptious, and very generously portioned. The micro cilantro and chili threads were an unexpected surprise. Creamy feta balanced the salsa and made the whole experience utterly luxurious. The extra thick toasted shells somehow managed to hold all this fatty salsa-y goodness securely in place, making scarfing it down a breeze.
Personally I'd welcome more heat in the salsa but I understand this thing's got to appeal to the masses.
Given how good the tacos were I'm definitely coming back to try the burgers now….and an...
Read moreIf you have not been here before you MUST experience this place! Small, hip little craft burger shop, delightful little place, fun to visit with unique and delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, and a vegetable based alternative burger. Drinks are just as unique and amazing! Fries were perfect and made fresh, pickles on my burger were home made style, I think if they sold them by the jar I would have to buy some because they were that good. Also-a Korean fried chicken sandwich-YUM!!! I really hope this place stays in business for years to come so when we are in the area we can continue to enjoy this cute little place! I wish I would have taken pictures of our sandwiches, they were so pretty, unfortunately they were so tasty we could not control ourselves and devoured them before we remembered to...
