Can't say enough good things about the staff here. They helped both my teenage son and 7yo niece make something special to take home as a memento of our day in Taylors Falls hiking and ziplining. They were super patient and helped them get all the little pieces they needed to make necklaces and bracelets. I even got a few charms to make some knit project markers. This store is filled with everything you could possibly need. I wish it was closer to the cities because I would visit every time I am in town. I highly recommend stopping in and buying a small memento of your trip if you're visiting this area, but plan to spend a little time there because it could be overwhelming deciding on what to make or buy! We love unique stores like this. Really is memorable. Please keep this business alive because I would love to go again next time...

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in the St. Croix River Valley. We made several stops along the way, including Franconia Sculpture Park, Nelson's Ice Cream in Stillwater, and the Gem and Bead Store in Taylors Falls. We have been to the bead store before and purchased fossil, rock, and jewelry treasures. This time there was a garage sale going on in the basement and my husband found a vice for a great price. I found a bangle bracelet carved from fossils. The woman who makes bead jewelry has lots of her lovely creations on display. I have slender hands and wrists so the sterling rings and beaded bracelets were too big. The carved fossil bracelet fit and is one of a kind. This shop is a fun stop on a day trip...

They have a ton of stuff from old bones to beads to leather. Things from all different cultures to craft whatever you need.they also carry cleansing herbals (for cleansing your home) As well as they sell local artists and entrepreneurs things as well. Downstairs they have a consignment shop of used items... some of those things are very unique too.they do sell their products online too. Their store is always clean and their staff is super knowledgeable about every item in all aspects it can have. And their staff is super nice and caring and go the extra mile for each customer that walks through the door.and it smells very nice in the store tooo... not too strong of a smell to cause a headache or anything if you're...
