Food City — Attraction in Tempe

Fresh produce,excellent prices , A little confusion sometimes in the deli about what is on sale for instance taco Tuesdays but very nice people- that was my review before they changed to an ad format online that you have to download a PDF in order to see what is on sale. They also try to make you sign up for the loyalty program and I’m not going to do that. The only reason I go to the store is because of the cheap avocados and produce but if I can’t get that anymore because I have to jump through a bunch of hoops I’m not going to do it so I’ve been really pissed off three times when I’ve gone into that store in the past two weeks when the prices on the signs don’t reflect that it has to be a club membership and they effed me over At the register. I understand it’s a new roll out but it’s a terrible idea. You are not Fry’s, You have terrible prices on most of the stuff except for vegetables. Fry is a lot cheaper Most everything except for produce so if I’m not gonna be able to get that without jumping through a bunch of hoops, I’m going to say no thank you. Oh, by the way, the reason I switched you guys from Frys was because of these asinine loyalty programs that I have to go on and clip digital coupons for I’m not going to do that, and I always leave them annoyed, and now I always leave your store annoyed. So I am changing my rating from 4 to 1, because you no longer my store anymore. It started with the making people buying doubles of chips and now you have to buy three of them and mineral Aguila is two bucks a bottle out of your gosh darn trees do you really think hard-working people wanna download more crap to their phones Save $.10 on avocados???? Oh, another good reason to go to them would be their dollar street tacos that sometimes they have on Tuesdays but they’ve went up 25% in cost and they’re getting stingier with the insides so yeah I’m not really feeling great about the store today what capped it yesterday was super early I would say 615 an and I walked in and the loudspeaker doing their commercials, was so damn loud that I actually had to leave so there’s another unwelcoming thing about the store and it seems to be new in past two weeks....

June 1st marks My 3yr anniversary in Tempe, Az! I LOVE my place & I LOVE the location that I reside in. FoodCity helps to make this move very positive & nutritionally fanstastic for Me! I did start to talk to the staff, the managers, the owners of the store about different items I desire (they listen!)

I desire for FoodCity to EXPAND to MORE brands & items way beyond the mexican basics! YES you CAN! this will set FoodCity apart from other mexican oriented stores! have more than one brand of seasonings AND expand the seasoning selection that you currently have!

Train your staff to become MUCH MORE kind & friendly to the customers! I've seen a few go due to POOR customer service skills! I have NO PROBLEM contacting your corporate when I'm RUDELY treated yet at the same token I contact your corporate to COMMEND a customer service rep also!

the meat department: Make SURE that area and your whole store STAYS fresh! I've had family that lived here for years never touch a foot in your store YET I moved here & now the same family members NOW patronize your store too! Its all about consumer and store communicating in clear positive manners with one another :-)

I'll be back to rate you again in the future HOWEVER start to put the above requests in full effect in order to see a HUGE monetary gain in your store productivity!

Hello this morning, time for another Food City review, the most challenging review to date. Apparently Food City (Bashas) has a no photograph policy. I found this out when a manager was called by an associate in the bakery and began questioning me about my phone in my hand. Not that this kind of behavior is disturbing to me however it did catch me unprepared for the verbally harassing introduction. Throughout our conversation the manager in question did not know how to handle the situation and throught discussing the woman's concerns I was able to advise her of proper engagement with guest and to contact her senior staff for further instructions. My photos are real and what is online in Google maps for the store makes me question the photos for this store. Most photos look like the store was closed during the photo montage, I can't say for sure. Anyhow I ordered a buttered roll and got a toasted roll with margarine, oh well no biggie it seemed like when I handed my order and question you used fake butter on my order. I accepted it and went on my way. Thank you for the breakfast. As you can see I could not finish it due to the taste.
