So I ordered delivery against my better judgment from this restaurant China Jade. They didn’t have great reviews however, I like the fact that they had regular noodles instead of spaghetti noodles for lo mein according to their pictures. I got the poo, poo platter and they packaged everything together so my dry food Was soggy and wet and the different types of sauces were all molded together. I called the restaurant immediately and let them know and his response was defensive, saying that’s how it’s packaged. I travel for work in order out a lot from various Chinese places as that’s my favorite food and I never have had my poo poo platter all put together in one box. That is utterly ridiculous! So I canceled out eating that food because I don’t like my food mixed together like that so I ate the lo mein that I had. I start eating lo mein, which was (flavorless) house lo mein and I noticed that it’s roast pork in it usually the house lo mein unless they stay different that I’ve ever gotten is chicken, shrimp, and Beef. That wasn’t a killer. I accepted the fact that it was roast pork and flavor lacking however, as I’m eating the roast pork, I noticed some of the roast pork isn’t cooked all the way through. So I took all the roast pork out of the dish and nibbled on a little bit more and Decided to be done with it. I should have went with my gut and ordered from the first place that I saw even if they didn’t have the type of noodle I wanted for the lo mein....
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise! We ordered several dishes via website for takeout and each one was fresh, flavorful and unique! The portions are huge compared to any other place we have tried. The Singapore Mei Fun was delicious and had just the right amount of heat, while the noodles were cooked and sauced just right. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The Szechuan Chicken was my very favorite--spicy and super flavorful with fresh veggies and perfectly tender chicken. The General Zso and Orange Chicken had flavorful sauces and were freshly made, with only a few tougher pieces. The Veggie Lo Mein was well done and tasty. The Triple Jade veggies were perfectly cooked and had a very tasty sauce as well. The only big criticism was that they substituted zucchini for green beans in all applicable dishes without letting us know. I specifically ordered the Jade for the beans, so that was disappointing. Everything was fresh and tasty so we let it go and will look forward to beans next time. This was the best Chinese takeout we have found in the valley with a very reasonable price. No eat in yet...only takeout and delivery. We sure are happy to have found a great Chinese...
Read moreI used to LOVE this place and would order delivery all the time. Spend almost $100 every time. We haven't ordered in a bit so called like normal for whomever answered to tell me they don't do deliveries. I asked you don't do them anymore? And he responded with a yes, they don't deliver anymore. I looked online for another Chinese restaurant that delivers and I see their website stating they DO deliveries. I called back, got the same person letting them know of my findings. He responded they do deliveries if you order online. I don't know why he couldn't say this when I first talked to him. But I had to ask why did he say they don't deliver anymore when I found out they do. Sad. Not going to them anymore, they rather loose business and lie instead of telling the truth and state that I can order online. Found six places just as close willing to take my order for a delivery without having to ask them why on your website says you do deliveries when over the phone you say you don't deliver anymore. I don't like games like these, makes you wonder what other games they play. I gave three stars just in case the cooks still believe in...
