In ALL my years in this planet I have NEVER had such a disgusting customer service experience. The manager at this (835 W Baseline Rd Tempe AZ 85283) location (a woman probably in her 30's, she said her name too fast for me to get but sounded little a lashawn was part of it) came out and was so disgustingly rude and disrespectful to me. I used the Taco Bell app which I have used dozens of times before. This is my Taco Bell directly across the street from my complex. They couldn't find my order (this has NEVER happened before and I always use the app) I handed them my phone which showed them the order receipt and that it was already paid on my Visa. The workers were nice to me (even started to make my food because I clearly had proof of payment and that's the right thing to do!) so please do not take this out on them, they recognize me because I'm in there all the time. I have proof of my receipt which I was showing the manager and she kept saying "I can't give you free food! We have NO CONNECTION to the Taco Bell app, we can't refund you and we can't give you your food!" I said here is the receipt you can see the whole thing is paid. I said "Is there anything else they you do for me?" and that manager was SO AWFUL -had a very raised voice and thick attitude when I was being calm and respectful. I asked her if this is really how she wanted to handle her long term customer who lives across the street and had proof of purchase and she said "yes that's fine and you can look right into the camera!" Don't even know what she meant by that but sounded like a threat, unnecessary since I was calm and quiet- I said I will be making a complaint to corporate and on social media. I don't need this in my life! I've been there so many times that woman has NO place in management OR customer service. So to repeat I had a PAID order receipt that she was seeing and agreed was valid BUT she would NOT give me my food. I left with my app receipt saying Paid by my visa. When I said I would take this higher up she said "this is not the first time we haven't had people's orders from the app!" As if that someone HELPED her point? That this is a common problem not being addressed? She screamed "and I WAS NOT RUDE out the window" well that's not what it seems like from my cell phone that's for sure. If this happens to you don't leave the drivethrough without your refund. DON'T use the app at this location! They do not make it right if there is an error on their end EVEN IF YOU'VE BEEN CHARGED AND HAVE PROOF. You will end up OUT your MONEY, with NO FOOD, Disrespected and treated like YOU were in error. It's so messed up I seriosly have NO IDEA how she became a manager. SHAME on you thieves! Good think I have proof because they are...
Read moreI willingly came to Taco Bell, I wasn’t expecting greatness. I drove through the drive though with a couple of my friends, we ordered a Big Cheezit Crunchwrap Supreme, two Beefy 5 Layer Burritos, a Grilled Cheese Steak Burrito, a Steak Supreme Burrito, Cheesy Fiesta potatoes, one large Baja Blast (no ice), a large Cherry Pepsi, and a butt load of sauces. At the window, we’re handed the bag of food and the Large Cherry Pepsi. I point out we’re missing the Large Baja Blast, and she proceeds to hand us a medium. She let us keep the Medium and also handed us the Large, no big deal.
We get home, dish out our rations, and I notice an item is missing. We open the packages to identify each item, and I realize I’m missing my Steak Supreme Burrito. Again, while a little bit annoying, no big deal, the store is only a couple minutes away. I noticed that we were charged for TWO Baja blasts, but she did hand us that one medium one, so I was willing to be a little forgiving as they were previously, I wasn’t going to bring this up.
When I walk up to the counter, I’m “greeted” by a not so friendly fellow, yelling at me from that back of the store. He asks if I’m there for an online order, to which I explain that I was there a little bit ago in the drive through and I had realized I was missing an item once I got home. Hesitantly, he walks up to the counter to look at the receipt and I explain we were missing the Steak Supreme Burrito. Without letting me finish, he interrupts and says “I KNOW THAT WAS IN THERE, I PACKED IT.” Stunned at the accusatory remark, I replied “No, it wasn’t. The Grilled Cheese one was there, but not the supreme.” He mumbled something I couldn’t hear. Seconds later, I watched him throw a half wrapped burrito into a bag, that was also ripped halfway down the side. He hands me the bag without a word, I thank him, and he just turns away, still without a word. I leave. I arrive at home, and open my poorly packaged burrito. It was basically folded in half rather than rolled, and I had mainly lettuce and beans, a couple pieces of steak, and some pico. Didn’t really see any cheese or sour cream. With his demeanor in the store, this didn’t really surprise me. I should have taken a picture for this review.
Check my profile, I don’t write reviews often. I wasn't going to write one at all until I was confronted and accused as a liar because they failed to do their job properly. Thanks, Antoine, for providing me the motivation to finally write the negative review that Taco Bell has deserved for...
Read moreThe girl who took my order said “Hey girl” with a very insincere smirk which off the bat, threw me off a little. It sounded forced and unprofessional. After the payment transaction, she never returned to the window. Instead, another young employee came up laughing and handed me my food. When I got home and opened my Mexican pizza, it looked like someone had given it a good couple of shakes. It looked purposely destroyed, but I’m not too picky so I scooped everything back together and continued to eat it. As I was almost done eating it, I felt something in my mouth and when I took it out it was black fuzz. I took my flashlight out and shined it on the food and the box, and there were black chunks of fuzz and dirt spot everywhere. It actually started looking like it had been dropped on the floor upside down and scooped back into the box. I immediately looked at the receipt to see the girl's name because she looked very familiar. On the receipt was a males name, who did not take my payment, so I called Taco Bell for a manager. The first time I called it went through all the way and then went to voicemail. The second time I called it rang about three times and then hung up. The third time I called, it went immediately to voicemail. After that, I got back in my car and drove to Taco Bell. When I walked in the original girl turned around and her eyes quickly opened wide. For some reason, one of the cooks looked shocked as well and walked over to talk to her. When I went up to the counter, the cook came and asked me if I needed something. I said I needed a manager and he handed me a large fountain cup. I then said “No I said I need a manager” and then he started laughing and went and got the manager. I told the manager what had happened and how the whole situation seemed off and purposeful. The manager immediately responded that she was so disappointed and just a heads up that this was the girls last day. That is when it all made sense. I don’t know what this girl did to my food but my throat has already started to feel sore. I’m disgusted...
