Tonight we decided to get Kentucky Fried chicken for Dinner, And Wally really wanted Macaroni and cheese it happens to be a favorite of his and although being diabetic and on dialysis it was going to be a real treat for him. So we ordered on line and went to pick it up ourselves. We ordered a Crispy dark meat Bucket of chicken and rolls with honey 2 mashed potatoes 2 large sides of mashed potatoes and one coleslaw. We'll we drove up to the window and let them know it was an online purchase. A younger gentleman swiftly handed us our order at the same time I could barely fit it thru the window as he was pushing it thru to me. I put it on Wally's lap and he counted the order but we didn't open each individual side. We finally got home and the order was wrong. And dont get me wrong these things do happen but we tried calling them for 15 minutes and more what was missing was a Macaroni and cheese and a mashed potato we got 2 sides of Cole slaw. So we drove back and I was uneasy at what was being said to me and Wally who happens to be 65 years old . The exact words we're " Our people said you got the Macaroni and cheese "" well then they wanted to see the order which was at the house being eaten by the family. So The young girl at the window was very upset and the way she looked at Wally was shocking as if he was worthless and a liar. Now mind you this is all about some Macaroni and cheese and Honey for the rolls. I was taken back and couldn't believe that she was acting like this. So we in the end received the missing order with such hesitance and I actually had to open it to make sure that nothing had been done to it. Where was the manager? He should have been there. So in the end I should have made my own Macaroni and cheese and barbecued. They wanted to charge for plates and plastic ware. So I still had dishes. This was a very bad experience for an elderly man on dialysis and a diabetic who's goal was to have Macaroni and cheese. Simple??? So I thought. Unhappy is not the word to describe this journey. Read moreOrdered online, came 5 mins late to make sure they had enough time to complete my large order. I could see behind the cashier that my order was ready and on the counter and was waiting for him to get to me after dealing with a difficult customer. As he went to go grab the manager for said customer I can see the manager tell the drive thru employee to take the order on the counter to drive thru and to give it to the person waiting in the car outside. Finally the difficult woman ahead of me paid and it was my turn. I told my name (I knew my order was already gone) and the kid turned them quickly turned back, asked me what my order was and then walked to the manager and drive thru employee to ask what had happened to the order there. They told him what happened and I told him its ok I could wait I needed to buy one more thing which he rang me up for and that it would be 5 more mins. As I went to walk away I saw the manager admonish him for not having put a name on it, I went to say it was online but the kid handled himself well and told her that he had bagged it and set it behind him to name it when he had to help the guests who entered the store and how he didn't think that they would come over and take 50 dollars of food without asking about it and give it to someone. I mean come on the drive thru guy and the manager will fulfilling the orders on screen they should have know they didn't put together the order for the person at drive thru and how food service is nowadays the orders by register or put together by cashier are online or phone so why take something without asking? It was 3 bags of food O doubt anyone was ordering for 10 people at the same time I did so I'm guessing it was the drive thru customers lucky or very unlucky day. The manager was completely unprofessional and had chosen to put blame upon a kid that looked new but had a great attitude and chastise him in front of employees and customers in the lobby. I can't stand managers with no accountability. It was an hour from me placing the order to me leaving the store. This isn't the first time I've had issues at this location and I won't be going back and will tell everyone I know...
Read moreKFC has been slipping for years. I get it once every 6 months or so and the experiences keep getting worse. Prolly won't go back at this point. On this recent visit I was with some friends and we decided to try the new wraps. There were 3 of us and the deal was 2 wraps for 5 bucks. We ordered 2 each, 1 drink, and 5 piece tenders. I wanted a spicy chicken sandwich but they were out. We had to pull around the front of the store and wait for our food which is fine, but it wasn't a large order so kinda weird. I guess it could have been a larger order... We got the food and headed home. I pulled the receipt out and read it. They only rang up one set of wraps as the 2 for 5 bucks. The other 4 at full price and all 6 we're cold. Which is weird because the order of tenders was hot. We asked for a couple of a few sauces and got one of each. Apparently the amount of tenders in the meals is not the amount that you can get without the meal so I had ordered a 5 piece but on the receipt it was a 3 piece tender plus two tenders at al la carte prices. Most places say hey we don't have that size and ask can I ring it up as a different size or add on individual strips. I wouldn't have cared so much if it was just that, but it was that and multiple other things. Not giving us the deal price on the 4 wraps. The sauces. Adding al la carte strips instead of explaining those sizes are only for meals. Most of all cold food. All of this accumulated in everything being just a poor experience. Just a hassle. A hassle not...
