Not a big place, but it has plenty enough. Great variety of snacks, food, and drinks!
This place is that little Japanese Oasis in the desert! Their Bento Boxes are simply DELICIOUS! Big enough to satisfy any appetite! Their home made rice balls are simply amazing! And their in-store table, chairs, and microwave, allows you to heat up your meal, and enjoy it on the spot!
And now... (be prepared for this one!) they have a Bento Selling Machine! 🤯🤯🤯🎉 🎉🎉
I was a bit skeptical about this, but it turned out to be really good! I Really liked it! The machine asks you if you want your bento hot or cold, if hot, the machine heats it up for you, so you can enjoy it right away! The machine also provides you with a small insulated bag to make sure the food arrives to your place either hot or cold (how neat is that?!?). I have to give it to Japan, they never cease to amaze me!
They have a good variety of Japanese beer and sake, so if not for you, for your Japan obsessed friend or family member.
The people at the counter are always nice and helpful, and they always have a friendly smile for you. This place is purely a small Japanese delight! Recommended to all!...

Read moreIdk, I can't say that I was completely dismayed with this place because they had some (very limited) cheap veggies and a wide selection of refrigerated noodles, but essentially the place looks run down and sad, most of their stuff is cheap type of foods full of preservatives but at very high prices, and for some reason sale staff followed me and my boyfriend around suspiciously - didn't know we give off a criminal vibe. We managed to find some good miso and some imported beer, but the rest of the stuff we bought was overpriced and underwhelming in quality. I heard that they have some food they make, and I would be interested in one day trying it, but the overall experience discourages me from driving out to Tempe to...
