Now, I know rating a fast food joint 5 stars puts me in one of two categories for anyone bored enough to read this review. Fat or bored. I'll let you guess which one. Anyways, back to the seriousness that is this analysis of Taco Bell. I've noticed in the last year or so (I'll call it TB for short) TB has been steadily and silently stepping up their game. No big announcements or some annoying new corporate slogan to gain the trust of the public and sway would be McDonald's eaters to their side. Thank goodness. We don't need any more of that in this country. No, what TB has done in true winning fashion is instead of telling us all what they're going to do, they just did it. And actions, even when not complimented by a single word are far more powerful than a dictionary full of them.
I noticed that the employees seem happy with their jobs. There's an air of satisfaction and pride in the workforce as a whole at TB and I always drive away feeling good and ready to eat rather than pissed off and too angry to taste my food.
And the food is, well, better. It's the right temp, the ingredients taste right and the new sauces, awesome. I love that someone finally had the balls to make some HOT sauce, that's spicy. Bravo.
Overall TB is doing well and this location slammed it home tonight. Best soft tacos I've had yet at this place and the dude that served me, couldn't have been nicer and more engaged in the transaction.
Keep it up TB. Keep improving and being quiet about it. We are...
Read moreI have lived next to this taco bell for ~4 years & they used to be SO good, but lately, it’s been terrible. For now the 4th time in a row , they messed up my order or forgot something.
(tonight, 2/15 at 7:35pm) This time, the guy didn’t give me a receipt, but forgot 2 items in the bag. the items that WERE in the bag (tacos) were not wrapped in paper and look like they were literally chucked in the bag, sour cream EVERYWHERE. It was honestly pretty comical at how terribly bagged the order was, one of the tacos was upside down, no paper and broken as it was on the bottom. wth.
The other day, i asked for a cheese quesadilla w/ extra jalapeño sauce & i genuinely think there was no sauce on it. sucks considering they charge extra for this…
at LEAST 75% of my orders within the last 6 months have missing items. The other 25% have been messed up in another way or form.
The one time i went back to get my order corrected, the gal at the window acted like i was either a liar or stupid. she was short with me, gave me attitude at the speaker, etc. the interaction was genuinely so awkward and terrible, ive been too scared to go back when the order is bad.
I am assuming maybe they’re going through staffing issues or something, so I try not to be too critical, however, it seems like the minimal, baseline efforts of their literal jobs are not being done at all and it’s so disappointing, especially when you get home and realize the food you got is wrong or...
Read moreJust pulled up at 6am and forgot how anal they are about coming inside. Right now I'm standing at the counter while they ignore me.
4 months ago: I did a delivery pickup at 6:15am. With no visible lights on and no other way to tell if the dining room was open, I pulled through the drive-thru. The parking lot was desolate and the lane was vacant except for me.
So it would have been a trivial matter to hand me the small bag through the window. Instead, you made me park and walk inside, and you insisted that I marked the order as claimed before walking away, something that slows both of us down oftentimes when my hands are full.
The Taco Bell app give no details about the hours. I had also tried to check Google Maps while en route but that was no help either.
This policy does not make me want to patronize this business as a customer. While you will prevent the occasion food thief you will also insult every driver (aka potential customer) like me just out to earn honest income. The lady was as pleasant as she could be about it all but it doesn't negate the downsides. I have in fact visited here before but it's not likely I'll return...
