NY NAILS SPA — Attraction in Tempe

I've been going here for awhile. I usually see this young guy. But he wasn't there today. So when I walked in there was a lady that greeted me. She did my pedicure. While I was getting my service, she pulled out her phone & made a few calls & text messages. She did this twice. I had made up my mind that she wouldn't be getting a tip. When she was scrubbing my foot, I let her know I was ticklish & laughed, made a joke & she didn't look up or even acknowledge I had said anything to her. At the end of my service, I looked at my toes & they looked good! So I was like eh. I'll tip her 2 bucks. (I'm a hairstylist, & sometimes we live off those tips, so I couldn't do that.) we get to the register & she asks do you want to tip me? I said yeah 2 dollars. She hands me my receipt face down. I grabbed it & walked out. I finally get time to look at my receipt & she gave herself bigger tip than I had told her to... So disappointed. I'll never...

Received pedicures asked for the upgraded $45 because it’s an upgrade from the $30 classic but received the same treatment as a classic in any other salon. Only difference was a little longer massage. Also, the tools they used on us weren’t in the sterilized packed it came in a metal tool box. Not sure their procedures. Therefore, we cancelled our manicure appointments due to the cleanliness. Their services is not worth the $$$. They did not inform French tip was extra so when checking out I was asking why it was so much, the entire staff got defensive and everyone focused on us as if we were going to run out. I kept being told over and over that it’s extra, I just told them I wasn’t informed but it’s okay. They repeated themselves and I had to voice over them that it’s FINE I just didn’t know it was extra because they didn’t tell me. Everyone could have a different experience but I’m just...

CAUTION*PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I am appalled at the professionalism displayed in this salon today. It's hard to see your hard working daughter come home sad, of the way she was treated by adults, adults that are much older than her. The nail tech in the front, yelled at her over the way she preferred her nails, and then, to witness him talking to other techs and about her, and they also give attitude. She is a consumer, regardless of what you don't feel like doing or how difficult her request was. I have lots of clients in that area that trust my opinion, and I will make sure I use my platform to ensure they DO NOT step foot in this salon. NO ONE deserves to be treated in that capacity.
