CHECK YOUR PICKUP ORDERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS LOCATION! You can't make this stuff up! I ordered for pickup through chipotle.com and my order was missing my large chips and large guac. I reported this to customer service and got 2 regular chips and 2 regular guacs added to my account (these of course expire in 1 month). I was a little irked that instead of refunding the missing items I got the 2 offers, but figured this was not a big deal UNTIL I went to order again today, in order to redeem my offers. YOU CANNOT REDEEM 2 OFFERS ON ONE ORDER! So, I was missing one item from my original order and was given 2 "items" to make up for it, come to find out you cannot use them at the same time which means Chipotle now got 2 EXTRA trips from me from their ONE mistake. Of course, I didn't want just chips and guac for dinner, so I ordered SOFT tacos and got HARD shell even though the sticker on my order says soft (see photo)
The biggest kicker, I feel of all, is we've patronized this location for just shy of 4 years now - my husband moreso frequents and he HATES using their pickup feature reporting that his order is ALWAYS wrong. Sure enough they are 100% for wrong pick-up orders. In store they are fine and ordering through Door Dash or Postmates my orders have always been made correctly. So, WHY can the staff not get orders correctly printed from their own website or app?
As a side note to corporate, if a customer is missing an entire piece of their order, just refund the darn order - especially when that is what was asked. "Awarding" 2 offers that cannot be redeemed on the same order is just blasphemous - it also lead you to this one star review. I mean one hiccup is excusable, but two mess-ups when the second was supposed to be the "makeup" for the first hahaha...it's just...
Read moreI came here around 12:30 Sunday, June 26th, and waited in line as only one associate was filling orders. No one else was assisting. I had ordered a burrito bowl with white rice, black beans (strained), and chicken (pollo asado). When it came to the other ingredients I asked for a touch of the salsa. The girl put a touch, then took another spoonful and added it. I said “Stop! That’s too much.” She then tried taking the spoon to scrape off the excess, and I again said “Stop! That’s cross contamination. You’re violating health codes.” I don’t know what she was going to do: throw the excess back in the container with the salsa, or throw it into the trash? Very odd. She started to remake my order, with an attitude, and I should have just left as we got to the sour cream. I asked for a generous scoop, and got a small amount. I asked for more, and received more than I wanted. Do they ever care to listen to instructions? It would be easier to let customers prepare their own sometimes. I dined in with the bowl, chips, and large drink. As I sat and had my meal I noticed something that didn’t look like it came from the rice, or any other ingredient. I packed up my meal having lost my appetite; taking my leftovers home. See image Before going I refilled my drink, but not until waiting for an associate who was fixing a beverage for themselves. As they stepped aside to stir their beverage with a utensil, I stepped up and was filling my cup when they threw their utensil across my person into the trash. Really?! Went back yesterday again, the TALL GIRL didn't even acknowledge me. She was busy putting stuff away and ignored me until her coworker came up and greeted me. I wanted to talk to them about how stale their chips were so Miss Tall thang got me a manager..."NATHANIEL" Wow. IF you think the tall girl was rude NATHANIEL is the biggest B in TEMPE. He said lots of customers complain about the chips being stale. He said they make them fresh every morning. Last time I got them it was 10PM so I said that they only make them in the morning and expect them to stay fresh all day? He said he gets a lot of complaints but wont refund me unless I have a receipt or bank statements. I had given him the card I previously used and he said he cannot look it up with that. What an A HOLE. For me to actually follow through with this review means he really pissed me off. Long story short, the nice girl at the register didn't end up charging me for the chips (Only big foot and "Nathaniel" are the ones I am complaining about) but the chips were still stale!
Anyway I tried to take a photo of big foot for yall but she was so damn tall my iphone Pro Max couldnt even capture all of her in 1 shot so her head got cut off..
