Tempe Marketplace — Attraction in Tempe

We have loved Taco Bell for YEARS!

My fiancee and I are patient, happy people! We understand that sh*t happen sometimes.

We rarely complain about these things.

We usually go to this location later in the evening. Between 8:30 - 930ish and 7 times out of ten, the order has been wrong.

We usually just let it go.

Many times the staff in the evening have looked annoyed, tired and are not friendly.

They may have just had a long or bad day.

There could be many understandable reasons and are just trying to get through the day.

But... this happens repeatedly. It's crazy! Of course the schedules change and the Managers take care of other complaints. I have seen reviews that have similar complaints.

Whatever the reason we get the wrong or a terrible order?

For example, we usually ask for the Supreme add-on for everything in our order.

It is, quite a big price difference for large orders.

We have no problem paying the extra price.

We've gotten home so many times and nope...

No Supremes! Bleh... Very disappointing.

We always assume that it will be fine the next time we go to pick up food.

We continue to try because it's close to home and we have health issues that prevents us from walking through a grocery store or we just can't cook that night.

We want something easy and fast and we love Taco Bell!

I promise that I am not exaggerating!

We get more frustrated each time it happens.

There is usually, ALWAYS, something wrong with our order at night. It's crazy and hardly believable. I don't understand.

I hate having to call and complain. It is embarrassing and uncomfortable.

We've had to call several times to explain about a situation when we had a $35-$50 order.

Recently, the food was made sloppily, everything fell out its wrapping before we even got it open. The entire order was that way!?

Seriously!? I just shook my head in disbelief and put it back together.

Different visits, separate orders, different days, the food was either soggy, extremely dry or smashed and leaking through the bag.

The Managers have been very kind and understanding.

They replace the food that we weren't happy with. Thank you so much for that.

Weird burrito sizes with barely any meat or beans.

Another time I ordered Tacos. A ridiculously tiny bit of meat here were 3 small strands of lettuce in a supreme taco no tomatoes. Another orders had no sour cream. Sigh...

Plain tacos... Grrrr

There have been so many times it's been wrong and we're too tired or mad to deal with it.

We give up. Eat it or give it to the dog.

More money wasted. Grrrrr.... 🤬.

Is it us? We are friendly when we order.

We just can't go after 830? They close at 10:00. We should have decided that a long time ago.

Maybe it's because they are ready to clean up and they're scraping the bottom of the pans for us and we get what we get.

It's been about a month since we've been there.

It could be amazing now! I definitely needed to vent because it's been insane.

The daytime staff are always very friendly!

We don't feel uncomfortable asking them to double check the order because of our past experiences.

One of the Valley’s most visited Shopping Centers, Tempe Marketplace, as an open air, colorful and offering pleasurable walking, perusing, live activities such as music, cinema, window shopping and actual shopping during the months of the year which are conducive for humans in the outdoor Arizona temperate zone. The Marketplace offers many amenities and top tier retailers and pretty darn good dining options – from junk food to BBQ! Parents can actually sip on some nectar as they watch their kids splash in the H2O. It is dog friendly, although make sure they have booties during summer months! I was also surprised, but glad to see EV-Charging Stations available! The one thing about Marketplace’s design I’m not happy with is, that although it was designed to look and feel like a village in many ways, in order to get from the main retail area to the big box and major stores area, is a dessert of a long walk parking area to be able to get to them – usually when you visit a shopping center or mall, you wish to park once.
