The District — Attraction in Tempe

The District is located next to Barnes and Noble, and the Thirsty Lion. If you enter from this way, you get treated to the best scenic views in the plaza, especially at night. The fountain at the front is lit up, and then coming in- there are colored water fountains and a small fireplace next to one of those fountains. Moving past that, there are dancing fountains that light up in different shades. There are chairs and sofas to sit on. At Christmas time, there are also Christmas lights and decorations along this passage. Shortly, you reach the District Stage which is pretty big. There are tables to stand at as well. In the holiday's music and colorful images project from the screen. A huge Christmas tree towers above and they have "snowfall" at night at 7 pm and 8 pm... it's just a small fan blowing out white stuff from a roof next to the stage; if there's wind, the snow won't...
