Being that this nail salon is so close to my home, I came here excited to support a business in my neighborhood. The salon is located in the Publix shopping center, and is very clean.
The first time I came for a gel mani & pedi, it was $165 including tip. I did get the removal of previous gel, upgraded pedi, and designs on two toes and two fingers.
One of the men assisted me on my first visit. He was very nice, and spent a good amount of time on the massage portion; however was not very good with the cutting and cleaning part. Also, a different woman assisted with the design parts.
The design didn't turn out too great, I wanted gold specks sprinkled around and it looked like large gold polka dots instead. Nonetheless, it was fine and my nails lasted about three weeks.
I recently went back on Thursday evening for only a manicure that was $58, including tip. This time the woman, who helped with the design in the last appt, assisted me.
When removing the old gel, she was aggressive but nonetheless, got the job done. She did a great job with cleaning my nails though. Sadly, same as my first visit, I wasn't satisfied with the design.
....24hrs later, one of the gold ribbons came off. Now, I've gotten nail designs with ribbon, jewels, etc in the past and this is the very first time it has ever fallen off in 24hrs. Maybe one week, but never one day.
I went back to the salon today to have it fixed, and was asked to wait a few minutes. While waiting, the woman who did my manicure stated, "this design doesn't last long". Which was surprising for me to hear. 15mins later I was still waiting. I asked for an ETA, and was told a few more mins. After another 10mins, I decided it was no longer worth my time.
2 stars for cleanliness and the employees are very nice. However I cannot justify paying the higher price range for nails...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in to try out this new shop. My normal place is a hike away and with this place being newer I thought I had a good chance of having a good experience compared to other shops in the area. The shop is clean, which was nice. I went in asking for a gel manicure. I was talked into trying a dip service instead. I have only had this done once before and I wasn't a fan but I thought I would give it a go. The dip was applied as it is supposed to be and cured and then I was asked to wash my hands. I was asked to go ahead and pay... and then was told to have a good day. They manicure portion of the service requested was not done. I asked if this was part of the dip service that costs $40 and was told no... a manicure was an extra $10 add on. One of the main reasons I went in was needing the manicure part of the service. I find this frustrating. Additionally, there are ZERO prices posted (and there are no sites online that list their pricing). If you decide to give this place a try, make sure to get the total cost of your service(s) up front so you aren't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried this place recently and I have to say, it was the worst/laziest pedicure Iāve ever received in my entire life. I was in and out in 25 minutes if that says anything. I was then shocked when they charged me $30 and I only used polish. They didnāt even have gel polish to remove! This was the first pedicure I Eve ever had where they didnāt provide exfoliation or a massage, and everything else was done with such little effort. They really need to give better quality services and lower prices if they are going to succeed otherwise, unfortunately I donāt see this place lasting, especially when there was not a single other customer there when I visited. I am writing this only bc I am so mad that I wasted my time on this place when itās so hard for me to get out of my house and get a pedicure with kids, and this is...
