Update: I was eventuslly contacted and received a refund plus 2 free meals. That was great, but the previous issues still happened. Also, the next time i went, there was a table that was misding 2 screws and it fell on me, and my child and the staff simply said "oh we should have fixed that yesterday." Smh. So I put rating up from 1 to 3 stars Food great. Managers and Corporate office drops the ball. Yesterday was a big day for my 11 yr old daughter. She finished well at her basketball meet and was super excited. I asked her where she wanted to eat and BLAZE it was because we love it there. Since it opened a few months ago, we have dined in about 20x and ordered from the app many times, too. The pizza is AMAZING every time. I called my friend and asked her to go with us and she agreed. We pull into the parking lot, and the plaza is extremely busy, like always, but Blaze had many spots open. I was waiting behind a line of cars to turn into the lot and park. Suddenly, this white car speeds around the corner off fowler and into the car line, I'm waiting. Slams on her breaks so as not to hit my car, THEN proceeds to honk at me, waving her hands and yelling. Being there was nowhere to go, my passenger looked behind and signaled to the lady to stop. When I was finally able to turn, she went forward SPEEDING in the parking lot and went around the building. We parked and got out waiting to see if the lady was coming around to the front of the building, but she didn't. We went inside, and there were several employees and only 2 ppl ahead of me. The staff was scrambling trying to do their jobs but just looked lost like it was everyone's first day. I only recognized one staff member, the manager, Tiffany. Then walks in the lady who almost hit us in the parking lot! She works here. As we slooooowly finish up the place is starting backing up because of how slow things were moving. I asked the manager if I could speak to her when she had a moment. I told her it was PRIVATE and I'd rather not discuss it at the counter. I told her I'd sit and wait while eating for her to come by. She agreed. My order was $22 and change with my military discount, and I tipped $2 despite the issues. We sat for about a half hour, and not once did Tiffany come to the table. As we are packing up slowly, giving her a chance to say something. Then, a staff member comes to the table, and it's BIANCA, the lady who was speeding, honking, and screaming at us. She says I was told you want the manager. I replied, "Love, I'm sorry. What's your name?" She tells me. I say, "It's rather private, is what I told Tiffany, and I was waiting to speak to her." She continues to try to convince me to speak to her instead. I said I'd actually wait to speak to Tiffany. I waited another 10 minutes, and nobody came despite seeing them stand around and socialize. We leave, and I call the 2 numbers online for corporate and headquarters. Funny enough, I can't speak to anyone there either. Each phone number is just a mailbox and no type of pleasantries. So, from brick and mortar to headquarters, there is NO assistance to be had. Thank God for my platform on social media where I shared my experience, I was able to see that this nastiness isn't a one off its the normal as of lately. I had previously raved about this place. My daughter even made reviews. This email may not every reach anyone who cares but I will continue reaching out. This behavior is unacceptable. My 11 year old should not have to hear yelling and honking because your manager was late for work and speeding. Shouldn't have to be the receiver of her bad behavior. Now from my experience I can take away that Blaze Pizza AS A WHOLE COMPANY indeed doesn't care about feedback. If you have any questions my info is below and pictures attached. ย ย ย Read moreThe management on was Sarah, Tiffany, and Tyler. They managed a most packed restaurant and an army full staff with great execution and efficiency. The line was out the door when we got here. 30 minutes to the order point and another 8 to receive our 3 orders. All tables were being cleaned and made ready for new guests almost instantly by the 2 dining room attendants that I saw. Well oiled machine for sure on what could be compared to their version of a Mother's Day lunch at an Oilve Garden. I am local to this location and have been bringing my family here for many months now. Blaze is part of our weekly dinner plans these days and today was as consistent with the quality of the food, service, cleanliness of the restaurant, and bathroom, as well as the friendliness of the staff. While in line, the order taker even asked if we wanted to add an order of cheesy bread since she heard us discussing it but forgot to order it. We got it and it was fantastic as well. We had asked 3 different staff members for different things during our visit and they all accommodated us with speed and great big smiles during what was a really hectic shift to them. I wish every place was as memorable and amazing as Blaze is here in Tampa. Thanks so much to all the Blaze staff here today for National...
ย ย ย Read moreIf I could leave zero stars, I would. I called the store directly to order a pizza for delivery to a nearby hotel where I was attending a convention. They said they don't deliver but asked if I was comfortable paying with a card over the phone. I told the employee I was paying with cash, and the employee hung up on me. I called back, and the employee said they could not start an order without payment in advance. I told the employee I was paying with cash, in person. They said the only register that can place an order for cash payment was in the back. The employee made it sound like a huge ordeal for someone paying with cash. How hard is it to start an order for a single pizza knowing you have the caller's phone number and that they said they would come pick it up? This isn't like the old days, before caller ID, where folks would prank pizza restaurants. I asked to order one large pizza, drive to your establishment, pay with cash, and your employee made me think twice about providing credit card information over the phone. Not only are your employees rude, they deliberately refused a sale. I called ahead so I didn't have to wait in a lobby for 20 minutes or more for a pizza...
