Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Temple

So my group consisted of 6 individuals, & we have came here before & had enjoyed our time. For it was relaxing, fun, social, & enjoyable. So after a long day of work we decide to go experience it again. But this time around it was nothing of the sorts as our previous experience. The teacher Jayna was obnoxious & said inappropriate comments During our session. Not only that she talked excessively, when she was not teaching how to do the painting steps, she preceded with games, jokes, screaming into the microphone, or asking us to repeat things she said, when all I wanted to TRY to do was concentrate on doing the painting steps. She was all over the place, I felt as if she was more focused or concerned in making the class “humorous” then in letting the class focus on their painting. She annoyed me & made me feel stressed out bc I felt rushed during the whole class. And My WHOLE group felt some type of way in how she didn’t focus on the teaching but instead of her talking her head off rushing us. We left dissatisfied with our experience this time around. I will love to come back but with a different instructor. But I will say Kyle was very helpful & attentive to our concerns & provided what we needed....

I have attended “painting with a twist “ a handful of times , and yesterday was the worst experience ever . The instructor Jayna was very annoying and continue to talk excessively off topic. She made a rude comment about the “Pope” after someone in class expressed to not make one. She also said an inappropriate comment in front of a child that I found very unprofessional.Her excessive talking distracted me to learn causing me to get very behind. The experience was stressful giving me anxiety and a headache. I have always enjoyed “Painting with a Twist” , but for future reference I will make sure Jayna is not the instructor when I decide to return . I'm not someone who would have picked this as a fun night out. I was invited to participate and thought 'what the heck'.. I love the ladies who are going so why not!? It was a lot of fun and Mariah our instructor was excellent. She took us step by step to create our masterpieces and had the patience of a kindergarten teacher on the first day of school! We had a small group which I enjoyed but I can only imagine how crazy it could get with a larger one. Had we planned a bit more ahead we could have brought in snacks along with our drinks and really made an evening of it so definitely consider doing that even though you will have paint all over! Thank you Mariah for making this such a fun night...
