I've worked in a few places within Honey Creek Mall, totaling 8 years. I've seen a couple of shops & restaurants come and go, but it's always remained the only place around to spend a whole paycheck! Hot Topic, Macy's, J.C. Penny's, Bath and Body Works, Victoria Secret, Master Cuts, Sears, Finish Line, Claire's, Spencer's Gifts and TGI Friday's have been around since as long as I can remember. Recently they added a tattoo/piercing place that seems to be flourishing rather well and fits in with the demographic. There are several top-notch jewelry stores and a massage parlor, as well as some children's clothing stores, and a variety in the food court. The Easter Bunny and Santa make appearances there during the holidays, but the photos are rather pricy. It's the only establishment that you can have dinner and drinks, do some shopping for the kids, pick up some power tools, get a massage and your hair done, and get a new tattoo without leaving the building. The security are on top of things there, as I've seen a couple of foot chases across the parking lot with degenerate shoplifters, and a few drunken adults escorted from one of the restaurants. All in all, it's a family friendly Mall, always kept clean, and not too crowded (except during Black Friday and...
Read moreHave loved this place for as long as I can remember. I spent most of my teen years here. It would be hard to think back on them without thinking if this place. Despite the recent closings of some of the mall's most beloved stores there are still many wonderful places to check out. You can always find something new. Just the other day, for instance, I decided to go through all of JC Penny, and found out that they have a really cute kids' section. There are lots of Disney princess dresses and acessories, like little boots thar are replicas of Ana's from Frozen. Lots of cute stuffed Disney toys and dolls you can't get elsewhere in TH. My niece should love them. It sort of reminded me of the old Disney store in the Greenwood mall (only nothing's like that anymore, right?). They had a talking Buzz Lightyear for $25 - $10 cheaper than Walmart! (and WM's didn't even talk). FYE has some super cool stuff. Lots of Funko Pop figures, LPs, figures - just about everything. They still have a pretty good sized DVD...
Read morePROS: Good location, easy to find, right in the middle of many other shops and stores in the area. Fun to walk around, food court, holiday events, and many big name brands, newly paved lot as of Aug. 2016,. CONS: Parking is a disaster during busy hours, and is difficult to figure out at first. Annoyingly flooded with high school students from nearby THS around 3-5 pm on weekdays after school, many stores don't stay here long (Garfield's, Universitees, etc.) after opening. Be sure to know what you are shopping for, as many vendors here will TRY to take advantage of you. Example: Nirvana moved back into the mall from their 3rd St location after they failed to keep business outside of the mall, and is still charging people and arm and a leg for merchandise that some stores in the SAME BUILDING sell for nearly half the price. Be cautious, and if you think something will be cheaper elsewhere, you're...
