Bard Owl Games — Attraction in Terrell

Great small locally owned buisness that always has something in stock to entertain you! As an avid stuffed animal collector I love to grab a plush (or two, or three...), my husband loves board games and model building which they have plenty of stuff for as well! They also have mystery dice grab bags for the dice collectors (they also have metal and crystal dice!) They have some limited edition museum quality Pokémon art prints, as well as pokemon cards and of course pokemon plushies! I also really love the TeeTurtle reversible octopus plushies they have, I was going to buy a bunch of them online but now I can save myself the wait and shipping cost while supporting a local buisness! I also love puzzles and they have a small but nice selection of them, there are easy puzzles for young children as well as difficult ones for the adults, and from good reputable brands!

Lovely space, good folk, and good accessory selection. So glad to have choices that I can purchase and continue LGS support even while working on the road. The loss of a star is in no way indicative of quality, or poor service. Board games, an most TCG selections galore and as I said, great accessory choices.

The 4 stars is for the lack of MTG products when I visited. In no way do I criticize what was probably a buisness decision, just sad to not be able to more fully utilize this store as I'm a mainly MtG only player. It's a great space and shop, alas I will only be able to frequent it for things like deck boxes, mats etc on a personal front.

My husband and I love having a local board game store to frequent. Bard Owl has a unique mix of games and I always find a game I've never heard of when I walk in. The owners are very knowledgeable and they host learn it nights so customers can learn how to play the featured game before you purchase.

The service is outstanding and the shop is very organized and clean. Their attention to detail stands out and you can tell how much they care about what they are doing. All this to say this is an amazing board game and card store and I can't wait to come...
