Fantastic park, I love walking my dog here as well as observing wildlife. Tons of untouched forest as well which is fabulous for wildlife enthusiasts. If you are into entomology also a great place to collect and catalog insects. If I could pick something to complain about it would be that I wish there were not feral domestic ducks here (that were most likely throwaways from easter), they will breed with native wildlife which is problematic. I would raise and release some mallards instead, quite a few here are already mallard hybrids. They take well to humans and while they also breed with some more uncommon species, I think domestics doing so is worse. A pollinator garden or wildflower area would also be a wonderful addition as well as more shade trees (remember to plant natives!) I also hope the natural forest is being looked after, I have been documenting plant species and have found quite a few invasives such as Chinese privet and chinaberry. I would also add more riparian habitat along the lake banks, I think there used to be plants but they may have died off from drought or something, might look into more hardier species. It would add more opportunities for bird watching and fish are attracted to plants growing along water for cover, so would enhance the fishing experience too!

Seemed like a cool park. I know going at 9 o'clock at night is not the smartest idea, and it would of probably felt 100 times safer. I could of somewhat experienced the park to it's fullest potential if they had the surrounding lights working. It was very dark one out of 10 actually worked. Although nice and we didn’t get attacked 👍It closes at 11pm. We enjoyed the change and it is most likely a very beautiful and spacious park particularly in the day time.

We love going to the park as a family. My kids have always enjoyed the ducks, and play grounds. We have really enjoyed this Augmented Reality that is placed around town. These 3D scans of the Murals are so amazing! Getting to experience Art in the Park is the best! The games and treasure hints that have been happening all around us in this spot are kind blowing. Really looking forward to the Jubilee and getting 3D scans of the whole family here

Just moved out here to Terrell from Dallas and was in search of a nearby park for my kids and come across this park. My kids & I absolutely love this park. It's great for kids of all ages. I have 2 boys aged 5 and 9 and a 2 year old niece who had a great time all playing together at this park. Age appropriate playground equipment for a variety of ages is awesome. So many different things available to be able to do at this park such as basketball court, baseball field, soccer field, 2 separate parks for older and younger children to play but, still close together so, the older kids can go play within eyesight of the caregivers who stay with the younger kids. Would've given it 5 stars but, there's absolutely no type of lighting for when it begins to get dark which, I just find absolutely crazy. It's totally dangerous in my opinion. Wish there was some type of lighting for when it starts to get dark. If they ever add any lighting I'll definitely change my rating from 4 stars to 5. Oh yeah, also there isn't no type of over covering to block out the sun at all. I mean there are huge trees surrounding the park are...

The park looks nice from the entrances. The bathrooms are horrible , to include smelling bad , have not been cleaned in what looks like a very long time. No water or soap to wash your hands...no paper towels or tissue paper. Please post " Out of Order " signs. Lots of big equipment on the property due to renovation ?? Drivers are not careful enough when driving equipment around children. Perhaps certain areas should be closed off .There are trash cans all over the park, not everyone uses them. There needs to be someone unfortunately to pick up after...
