Ooof. I hate having to update this review in a bad way, but what I saw was ridiculous. New location, but the employees do not care. There were 3 young ladies at the counter when I got there. They were all chatting about nothing to do with their job; one couldn't bother to put her cell phone down when I walked up, even though she was at the cash register. When one of them tried to take my order, another girl tried to demand her attention about, again, something unrelated to the restaurant or her job. A customer re-used a plate (disgusting), and the lady directly in front of him behind the counter said nothing. Another gentleman who worked there was content with making it his job to flirt with the girl serving pizzas, going so far as to grab her hair and pull on it while she was cutting pizza (if you find hair in your food, this could be why). One woman was dressed like some type of manager, but she was eating out of a bag of popcorn and offering it up to other employees - again, right beside the pizza being served. Surely that goes against code? She also took a few minutes to lean against the counter and get on her phone. The food was your typical Cici's food, which is fine. They seemed to have not been prepared for the dinner rush, having one whole area of the pizza bar empty for a bit because they couldn't keep up with demand. Maybe less time on their phones would help them avoid this in the future.
If you want cheap food for your family that is tasty and not "fast food," this is a good place... So long as you don't mind random hair or popcorn in your pizza, that is. The guy cleaning tables was working hard; maybe he should be...
Read moreHealth hazard. We are not ones to leave bad reviews, but my wife observed a child vomiting and reported it to the cashier right away so they could clean it up. They didn't- not thoroughly. There was still pieces of vomit under the table as we left and my wife could smell vomit as we walked past. We also observed mold on the base of a bench nearby, and an overall terribly unclean environment. My wife reported the mold to management, even showed the manager a picture of it, and he said something about a meeting two days ago basically brushed off her concerns and did not send anyone out to bleach it right away. As of the time we left the restaurant, no one had addresses any of the clearly filthy areas - even though my wife reported it and I was taking pictures and not being secretive about it at all... My family and I have been here numerous times, but we are resolved to never eat here again. We plan to write the district manager and perhaps contact the Health Department.
There is a Little Caesar's nearby that sells an amazing pizza for $6 (Extra pepperoni) that we will frequent for our budget pizza needs...
Read morePutting this here because I work at Cicis, reading all these reviews can be disheartening to be honest, all of the employees try their hardest to make things right if things go wrong, I've always kept a friendly smile and warm attitude towards the customers, please understand that there's so much that goes into running a restaurant, someone has to clean bathrooms and prepare the lobby to make it clean, someone has to make the dough, someone has to work on dishes and make sure the games are operational, and the buffet has to be properly stocked when there's a large fluctuation of customers it can get hard to keep up, though it seems people at the front are occupied, they're all working behind the scenes to make sure everything is running smoothly, the managers and my coworkers have nothing but my utmost fullest respect, I ask you give them the same respect in return, and perhaps tip the busboys once in a while. They work very hard to ensure that you have a clean table to eat at, it helps out a ton, especially through having to clean up brownies that have been thoroughly smushed into the ground and...
