Canales Furniture has this dining room table that has what I call a "Church Bench," as part of the seating. I fell in love with that seat, the first time I saw it, a year ago, when I was going through a very hard time in my life. The seat reminds me of the seats in older Churches, but also when I sit on it, it reminds me of my Faith, and makes me feel grounded, and close to God. I sat on that seat, and I could see my whole life change (as if God was sitting there beside me 🙏🏾) I promised myself, that one day, I was going to buy this seat, and have one in several places in my home, so that when people sat on it to talk, they would feel, what I felt. I have seen many seats, and benches in my life. But it was that one, at Canales, that I felt God's presence on. They move That Dining Set around the store a lot, so when I asked Natalie about the bench, and I didn't mention my story, or who I was, she took me to it. Natalie looked at me, and asked me a question that let me know, she's a great salesperson, but also questioned myself in more ways than one... She asked me, "What is stopping you from owning this, if the price is right, and you love it so much 🤔?" Boom!! Just like that!! And I knew, and gave her the answer. My first visit was positive thanks to Carlos, who took his time walking around the store with me, answering questions and showing me different choices. On my second visit, I was greeted by Gabriela Caldera. She knows how to spend time with someone like me that wants to sit on every sofa and chair.
