Wow . Disappointed . They served us .50 plates from Walmart that already had starches on them . Steroform cups and soda cans . $2.50 for a can with steroform cup with ice . No refills . The salsa was runny . The chips didn’t look homemade . Then when I asked about the food . They didn’t have any in stock or was out. Ketchup came in old ketchup packets, not even a bottle, no bbq sauce or mustard . So I literally got the kids tenders . No side, no fries or rice just 3 strips for $6 . Like no nice plates or cups or silverware. Literally 3 strips of chicken and a Coke can coast me $10 plus taxes and a tip. Not worth the hype . The place was a mess inside . The kitchen tore apart all in the dinning room area cause of “accident “ that had happen . When we walked in, we was greeted but the cooks and staff was all sitting down and on there phones talking . You can literally go to the doller tree and buy nice plates and bowls and cup. Paid over $30 . Everything is rang up separately. Nothing is together. Save your money and time .

We tried the Thursday Taco special with two quesadillas (Mexican Sausage and Steak, Bistek). We were visiting the state line monument next to the Post Office and thought we would stop at the random taco spot next to it. BEST DECISION EVER!!! I thought you can only find street tacos like this in Mexico or California, but these will make you think you are there. The flavor is like the traditional buche meats, they have the same selection, and the price is very worth it. We will always stop by here when stopping through TXK. Very nice atmosphere and design, reminds me of an old school diner or saloon, so much historical value and ambience and the host is very welcoming and attentive. If you are visiting from the East and want to get a taste of how good the tacos are in Texas or the Southwest, this is the first place that should be in your list.

This place knows nothing about authentic tacos. How sad. Sitting on the border of Texas he opens a restaurant that has no clue what a taco is. One hard tortilla, the minimum amount of meat, salsa that is a joke and no beer or margaritas ! Seriously? The most insulting thing was the price.....$35 for 4 tacos and one order of rice and 2 cokes???? And when I told him it was not any good at all he offered nothing but sorry???? Destined for failure for sure and PKSTING A PICTURE OF THE MEAL.....YES MEAL I GOT IN THE MIDDLE OF DALLAS MEANING HIGHER COSTS, FOR $20 INSTEAD HIS PRICE I HOPE HE REALIZES HOW MADE WE WERE.......UGH🙄
