I recently visited Ding Tea in The Colony, TX, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends.

Now, let’s talk about the drinks—they are phenomenal! I ordered the classic Milk Tea with boba, and it was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, with just the right amount of creaminess. The boba was fresh, chewy, and had the perfect texture. I also tried their Taro Milk Tea, and it was equally delicious, with a rich, smooth flavor that I couldn’t get enough of.

Pros: the tea is delicious and menu has a lot to choose from. I especially like the Coffee Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly. Not so sweet and the cofffee is strong enough. Other time I order coffee and milk tea or flavor tea and they are also great

Cons: Customer service needs to be improved. I'm usually not a nitpicking person, though I have a knack for courtesy, so I usually don't mind much when stepping into a tea shop and just see a brief "hello". But the most recent time I do have something to say. The shop is not busy, it's just me. When I received the tea I already was polite enough to say "thank you". Twice. BUT, what I received back was just the tea hastily put in the bag and shoved to me. Then employee/owner quickly retreated to the back/laptop. Sorry but that threw me off a bit there for impoliteness that I couldn't ignore when there's no eye contact/didn't look back at the customer with a smile, and made me feel they just wanted to shoo me away so they could be back to their chit chat/what...
