Horrible... I don't usually leave reviews and waited before leaving this review. Our poor experience justifies less than one star. We reserved a visit to WorldSprings Dallas for opening week (July 3rd 2024). We were really excited after waiting for reservations to open up after social media ads were really hyping it up. We got there early that day and had a smooth check-in, greeted by kind staff. It was relaxing and slow when we arrived but got crowded fast. Once we scanned our bracelets and walked past the no re-entry zone, we were told by pool staff that not all services were open or available to use (saunas were not set up, soak pools were roped off, lockers were malfunctioning, and spas were only offering demos). We get it, sometimes that happens for grand openings... but grounds and staff were absolutely not ready to open to the public. We checked emails and the website for any updates. Nothing was posted about these limited services or inoperable facilities. Bar and cantina staff were untrained, unprepared, and couldn't serve guests in a timely fashion, but we overlooked it and still enjoyed the morning. About 1.5 hrs into our soak, the sky fell and it started lightening. Lifeguards closed all the pools understandably. We were told by management to please standby before walking out on our reservations, let the weather pass. However lightening delays extended past an hour and by this time it was pouring. All the guests were crowded under awnings taking cover from rain as we were told we couldn't reschedule because computers were down at this point. Many people were willing to wait out the rain but were visibly upset about the money they spent for a full-service resort, only to have access to part of what was advertised online. This is when staff really caved, it was utter chaos. Staff couldn't keep up with demands for food/drink orders, the only available amenity left. Computer systems were down so bracelet chips weren't synced and they had to close the resort due to extended lightening calls. All guests were shuffled out with (3) vouchers as a resolution. Management told each group we were welcome to come back a different time once full offerings were available. We were told we could use the rain-delay vouchers at our leisure. Lightening and rain delays are one thing, we definitely understand weather-permitting issues at an outdoor resort. But not being notified until after checking in and inside the resort about limited offerings is a different issue. WorldSprings could have been upfront about what services were unavailable on grand-opening, or give guests an option to come back a different day PRIOR TO OR UPON CHECK-IN. Particularly when reservations were made weeks in advance. Management told all the guest's vouchers would be honored upon return, despite an expiration date printed as August 31 2024. The resort didn't have a way of providing refunds or credits because of a down system. We left disappointed but satisfied with the resolution, felt it was a good compromise. Fast forward to June 2025 and we are planning to return to use the vouchers. Today, June 7 2025, I follow instructions on the voucher before making reservations. Come to find out current staff is not going to honor the vouchers. Honestly doesn't surprise me based on our first experience of no transparency and dishonest advertising. We assumed original staff and management has fully turned over due to how unorganized everything initially was. Assumed current management wouldn't understand how poor of an experience all the guests had during opening-weekend 2024. We are reasonable, understanding people and realize expirations are typically printed, but original management ensured us at the time of receipt this was not a routine voucher. At the end of the day, we paid for a full resort experience, which we never got. Management (old and new) failed to provide advertised service. To current management who may be reading this, please make this right. Hundreds of other guests can attest to this same experience from grand opening...

If you want 100% the honest detailed review, you found it!
TLDR: A very expensive hot tub experience with poolside wait staff to bring food / beverages.
Check in: We made a reservation online for 8 PM and it was easy. They provide complimentary valet for you when you arrive which was easy and quick as well. After having our bags checked quickly and waiting a moment to check in and sign waivers, we got our wristbands and proceeded to the locker room to stow our things. However, none of our wristbands worked properly to unlock / lock the lockers, and our group of 3 had to go find an attendant in the hallway, who still couldn’t fix the 2/3 of the wristbands, so we just piled everything into my one locker. Towels are provided for free and robes can be rented for a fee.
Springs / Pools: The Dead Sea pool was essentially a normal pool with slight salt added. The pool did not have enough salt to make anyone float properly and honestly was a disappointment for how small it is in person. The rest of the facility consists of many small hot tubs scattered around between trails with a few cold plunge tubs and saunas. The hot tubs vary in temperature and claim to have different minerals in them. Most can fit about 5-6 comfortably. Honestly, aside from the temperature (which was not always accurate we found) the pools just felt like normal hot tubs with rocks on the bottom. They were all either a square or circle shape, and there was nothing that made them feel particularly special. No landscaping or decor to resemble the “area of the world” you were in. The pools were clean and well maintained, but nothing special you couldn’t find at a hotel or nice gym.
Food/Drink: Surprisingly, a really good value for money for their food and drinks. We had 2 carafes of a rum drink and a vodka drink, plus soft serve ice cream which was really delicious and a chicken California flat bread which was generous in size and flavor. The drinks had a nice kick which you certainly felt in the heat of the pool. Technically you aren’t supposed to eat poolside but there is not enough tables / chairs throughout the establishment outside of the reserved cabanas, so the severs didn’t care and let us eat poolside as long as we were careful. All CASHLESS.
Staff: Overall very nice and helpful. The few incidents we had were not very important, such as the towel lady glaring at us when we took her folded towels instead of the unfolded towels she tried to hand us suddenly. And the bar tender not understanding what a carafe was vs a pitcher. Easy things which weren’t a big deal, because the staff was clearly working hard and making sure everyone was taken care of.
Value: For $75 a person we expected a lot more. I wanted to be transported to different areas of the world, like a wooden ryokan onsen bath from Japan, or actual glacial hot springs from Iceland. We didn’t find any of that, just concrete square or circle hot tubs with some rocks and the occasional water feature. This sounds fussy, but for $83 after tax per person, you expect more. This should cost closer to $35-40 maximum, then it would make sense. I won’t go back at the current price point.
We enjoined our time, but there isn’t enough of an incentive to return given it was fairly regular and...
Read moreThis is a hard place to describe. Outwardly they appear to be about what the different pools (hot tubs) can do for you. They have signs at each of the pools telling you the temperature and what minerals you should expect in the water. Most of the pools seem to have rocks which I assume help with the mineral levels in the water, not sure though. They also have a few cold pools, a dead sea inspired pool, and a large "family friendly" pool. Past the pools they also have saunas, spa treatments, classes, and a cafe/bar (and yes, they will bring you your drink while in the pool).
You may or may not see where this is going. When you get there the line is pretty long and you have to sign a wavier to enter as you would at any water park. Everything is marked up as expected since you really don't want to have to leave and come back during a busy time of day or if you only have a 3 hour pass. They could also be a little more organized.
The pools are crowded and you may or may not be able to find a pool you'd like to try. I'm sure they have plenty of filtration but they even state that they put the bare minimum into the chemicals they put into the pools for sanitation. If the pool is particularly busy I doubt that will keep up with the use.
The place is not laid out very well and it can take a while to figure out how to get somewhere near the small round pools. Finding a place to sit if you aren't in a pool might be difficult too. The cabanas are rental only which leaves only a handful of tables otherwise if you aren't near the cafe. Also there are places where it gets muddy. Again poor design.
They have a "guarantee" that you will feel better than when you came in. Which you can only fill out before you leave. This is probably because you won't really know until after you're gone how it affects you. I didn't feel better but also didn't feel worse so I didn't bother at the venue. By the time I got home though I felt quite a bit worse. Probably the minerals and chemicals left me nauseated.
The attire is supposed to be appropriate although there really is no separation between the "family" and 18+ area and the staff doesn't monitor what people are wearing, or more importantly not covering.
The cafe/bar is more a bar with bites. The drinking was a bit much and there were glasses and such just left places. The staff did try to keep these picked up but it felt like a losing battle.
Parking: Can be difficult but should be ok. Cleanliness: Not bad but they should keep the walks entirely clear of mud. Staff: Friendly but need more training
In doing the recap I realize I used "but" a lot. It's like this should have been a great experience, BUT! I think they need to manage the place better, train staff better, and keep the area that is suppose to be welcome to kids a place you might actually want to take a child. I think they expected the family area to be more of a daycare for your kids while you go get a spa...
