Not worth it! My fiancé and I originally wanted to go with K1 Speed like I had personally done before (and now wishing we did instead), but then he found this place and it having two levels of track seemed really fun. First off, $70 for two people?? The ticket says to give yourself about 30 minutes for the experience, 25 of those were for the preparation and 5 was the actual racing. Not worth it. You’re put into a room to watch a debriefing video. It was really cool to see they actually got Mario Andretti to speak in this video, with him talking about how when he races, he races to win. Towards the end of the video, one of the speakers literally says that when you’re out on the track, you aren’t just racing to finish, but to finish with the fastest track time. So what does that sound like to you? Because to me, that sounds like you’re being told to go fast, as karting should be. I ask this because I can’t tell you how many times we were told to slow down or the karts automatically slowed down. Yes, they have full control over all of the karts. One person’s mistake makes everyone pay for it. I get it if you need control over all the karts to stop them completely for an accident or something, but to just make us crawl at a snails pace when you happen to be in the middle of an uphill curve? Not fun. With that being said, more than half of those 5 minutes was spent not even being able to go full speed because they kept automatically slowing us down. The track has no traction, so when you do try to slow down on your own, you drift without wanting to and either accidentally hitting someone or a wall, and they dock you for that by slowing everyone else down. Andretti, if you don’t want people hitting each other or the walls, make the track wider! Yes, the track is also too narrow for one racer to even be able to pass another. I had the “let pass” sign thrown in my face at least twice, I’m sorry (not really) but I can’t because the wall is right there with so many curves and hardly any straightaways! And honestly, if they can’t get around me then that’s not my problem, we paid just as much as they did to be here. In real racing they don’t ask of you to do that because it disrupts the race flow, and it definitely did every time they tried to shove that sign in my face. They need to be able to come up with their own way of passing, this isn’t a Highway. Don’t show us a video telling us to race for the fastest track time only to tell us to slow down in the actual race or automatically slow us down. The staff also didn’t seem to know what they were doing. I was standing in line behind my fiancé after getting our helmets and getting ready to get our assigned kart, when I felt a rough tap on my shoulder and a chick pointing back to another worker across the room also at a desk like the one I was already in line for. So I assume that they have two points of boarding when I walk up to the guy, who rudely and sarcastically tells the woman thank you for getting my attention. He then proceeds to tell me I’m supposed to be in this line and then asks for my age. I knew then what happened, so I told him I was 22 and he stares for a couple seconds then starts apologizing. This made me lose my place in line behind my fiancé who I came with. So I stepped back in my actual line and I get up to this guy, and he also proceeds to tell me I’m in the wrong line! I had enough at this point (all before the race even started) and just told him I was 22 and then my name, which was up on the board right in front of us. Instead of them asking me while I was in line for my age, they just assumed and made me lose my spot behind my fiancé. Thanks guys. So between everything, we decided this place is a never again. Really wishing we went with K1 Speed or Dallas Karting Complex, both of which are better priced and you get a better and more authentic...

Read moreI NEVER have to give such negative feedback, but this takes the cake for lacking in so many ways in our experiences with similar venues over the past year. I really wish this could have been a better review! We had high hopes for this place… Took my 5 year old to go “mario kart” racing and play bowling and video games. The all inclusive pass would have been $75. We were there a little before 2pm on Saturday and as we approached the counter to pay…Noticed a sign that said “bowling closed from 4-11pm” (no biggie, right?) that gave us 2 hours for just bowling - so we thought.
Then I heard someone(not the cashier) point out “there is a current hour and a half wait for bowling” so after doing quick math, we concluded that wasn’t the way to go. We MIGHT get a lane around 3:30, or later with picking bowling balls and shoes etc, and have less than half an hour to bowl. Nixed that plan…then the cashier offered a $25 full arcade access pass for unlimited game play for 4 hours and the option to add standalone races for Mario Kart tracks. She stated “our system is down and nobody can get prizes, a few games wont work” - ok, well that’s unfortunate but whatever we’ll still have fun regardless of the kiddo picking a prize at the end, right??
Not so fast. Turns out the system being down ACTUALLY meant more than 60% of the games were inoperable (I counted after we circled a few times trying to find anything to get in line to play) - My preschooler couldn’t handle that, so we resumed and used the wrist bands for him to drive on the track. He did love that A LOT!! It was his first time.
Overall though, the service/cashier was very vague about exactly what was meant with the way she worded things and we left without being able to play games. It’s only $25 “wasted” on that part; but the attitude on top of her willingness to sell us two options we clearly couldn’t use is ridiculous. And circling back - she was about to be completely ok with selling us the whole $75 package knowing there would be no time for us to actually get in on the bowling.
She had a crummy attitude the second we walked up to the counter. We won’t be back, at least not to this location. I hope we have a better experience at another location after learning there are more.
Provide reasonable, kind service that includes logic in consideration of timing and availability, or lack thereof. And, go work somewhere you dont have to greet people if you hate your job so much that you instantly act like a rotten egg and rolling eyes paired with deep sighs to anyone for no reason.
The place was clean and we thought would have been fun. But not everyone operates on service above self, and if we had simply been informed accurately (and kindly) about the circumstances we would have happily come back another time and potentially be leaving a better review paired with a...
