Poor things looked overwheld all night at the Truck Yards tonight. And the their cute order buzzers never go off it seams. Literally saw them requiring two, of three works to cut a sandwich. Good food but not very efficient. They seem very unclear about their own menu. They were running a special 2 quesadillas for $13.99. I clearfified one order was 2 quesadillas, they said "Ci". I bought 2 order equaling 4 quesadillas. I recieved 2 after an hour. And had to ask for those and i did so nicely. I saw my tick had falled jnder a stack of napkins. Asked for thr other two and was told one order is 2 quesadillas and i had already gotten them. I think she thought shd was apeasing me by giving me a third one finally after another 36 minutes. NEVER, got my 4th quesadillas. She even asked for a translation to explain to me my own order for another guest. Mind you I have been speaking to her in spanish this whole time. My favorite was the fried pork (Masa de puerco). It was tender, juicy and bits of flavor a.k.a fat. The seasoning was garlicky and umami and not spicy as it is traditionally.
The rice and beans was cooked perfectly and the stuffed potatoes was perfect as an appetizer and great a beer companion.
Donāt pass on the fresh juices.
I appreciate having a food truck serving a proper meal with all the fixings and portions. Iāll need to try the Ropa...
