Made a stop to this little attraction while I was staying in Thomasville,NC while training and going to school for truck driving. Had a friend back home in Fayetteville,NC that kept asking and insisting I go see "The Big Chair." So, after class and getting back to my lodge where I was staying, I showered and took a drive downtown to have a look for myself. It's a cute little setup and the downtown area was quaint and peaceful. There's a lot of intriguing little shops in the area too that I might like to come back and visit again. If you're ever in the area or passing through, it's a nice little stop and a unique landmark in a small town vibe...
   Read moreIt's a chair.....a giant chair. I believe the "review" should be self explanatory. I understand the symbolism behind it, however that industry has been gone from Tater town for a while. The landscaping IS nice around it....but that's the only thing around it that's nice. The rest of the town looks like a less depressed version of high point contemplating self immolation.    Read moreYou drive by in your car,you stop and take pictures, nothing to go thur it's the facing of the old chamber commerce building,around downtown High Point several different building ,one shape like a ship and High Point Museum and Historical Park is a good time also.If you have time you need to Furnitureland South and check their furniture cabinet front building and should go thur store also,it's wonderful and interesting,has restaurants inside building...
