Thomasville Parks & Recreation — Attraction in Thomasville

Thomasville has a wonderful selection for parks, but we need regular authority checks. I am disappointed by the park litter. My last visit to Veterans Park, I saw a used condom thrown away in the kiddie play area. There is often trash around, despite plenty of trash receptacles. I see too much delinquency at Doak Park. I have left in numerous occasions because of young adolescents crowding the play area and blocking the way for younger children. My last visit we left because of a young couple interlocked at the skate park entrance. I don't want my eight year old daughter to think that is appropriate conduct. Love the sports they offer for the kids. Volunteers are great prices are affordable! Only wish is that games were the same nights as practices (Tues & Thurs). Very great big place. Didn't like the refrigerator very small an needed cleaning. Stove inside. Tables need to be updated. Didn't like that I had to find someone to sit there the whole time to watch building cause they don't give key. That was a long 10-10. The doors automatically lock.
